You should have compared with Xiaomi Pad 5 pro. I know it is not global, but it could be a fairer comparison. It has sd 870, 8 speakers instead of 4, better camera and fingerprint scanner.

For me, the micro SD card support for storage expansion is the deal breaker for my choice of tablets. I'm on Apple ecosystem but not on their ipads for the lack thereof.

Xiaomi pad 5 is so underrated. In my own opinion xiaomi won this match, that's why i bought Xiaomi instead of Samsung tablet. Btw im a samsung fan ever since s3 mini till now im using note 10plus.

Poorly. You change the pages on which you show the devices every now and then. Once Xiaomi on the right, Smasung on the left and vice versa. You can go crazy. Stick to the pattern.

Definitely the Galaxy Tab S7 - the S-Pen is the absolute best one out there, better than even the Apple Pencil 2 imo (I have used both, daily and for an extensive time).

Xiaomi Pad 5 supports HDR, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, HLG etc. while Samsung Tab S7 doesn't even support HDR. So, I don't think they are same.

I have a Xiaomi Pad 5 pro 5G and a Samsung Tab S8 5G. I know it's not exactly per this video comparison but just want to point out the following differences between the brands. 1) Native color adjustment & control is critically more comprehensive with Xiaomi. Can't fine tune the color temperature on Samsung as fine as Xiaomi. Samsung color is not as natural as Xiaomi for me - could be a TFT vs IPS thing. 2) Xiaomi has 8 speakers with Dolby software control whereas Samsung is with 4 speakers with only native Samsung control. I give an edge to Xiaomi for the sound. 3) Samsung have phone calling capabilities unlike Xiaomi with data only like Apple ipad mini 6. For mostly handheld lounge chair media consumption, I prefer the Xiaomi which was the reason I bought it. Xiaomi also feels lighter even though it's supposed to be heavier if following the specifications. The Xiaomi audio can be so real that I sometimes have to momentarily turn it off to check that it's not the actual ambient sound around me.

MicroSD cards are becoming a niche product. They are slower than internal storage, prone to failure so if you value your data you would avoid using them. There are so much other methods of data transfer that you don't really need an SD Card.

No... sadly there's no iPad Mini like tablet running Android. The closest in performance is the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active3 but it's a rugged tablet.

This is a late response but i think it will be the xiaomi pad 5, if youre an artist then the samsung is a little better. But when considering the price; the xiaomi is preferable and the pen is just okay.

So i am having a hard time deciding on a tablet. I have fully decided to SellOff my iPad Pro M1 12.9" so I can use the funds to buy a new Android Tablet. Probably a Tab S4 or S6, and also buy a new phone, maybe a Surface Duo or an Oppo. There is so many very nice and cool options for Android tablets that can do everything I need, i just cant choose. Is Galaxy Tab S series just the best? Id like to spend less than $300 on the tablet, so either a Tab or a Lenovo im thinking, any help or tips from anyone are much appreciated

Whatever will cause Samsung loose to xiaomi is storage raise with price raise what do not happen in xiaomi, when you try to compare prices and different caused you just go to xiaomi direct, this is because is like they balances, lenovo screen light is better and even cameras seem just the same, ROM and RAM is very big disappointment from Samsung phones what really lowers the standard, Big price without storage has nothing to impress.

I tried both of them for 2 months, Tab s7 the battery is drain like a rain ☔ very bad for a tablet. Mi pad 5 is better in terms of battery optimization. Tab s7 with it's pen on the back feels very weird and I was not confirmable with it. I found that mi pad 5 is more practical and much better in battery life, and the speed almost the same.

For goodness sake, this is a no-contest comparison. MiPad 5, for whatever reason, is a hyped-up tablet that does not live up to its expectation relative its price tag. In my country I am puzzled that it is priced almost the same as Xiaoxin Pad Pro 2021 (just bought one) which will handily beat the crap of Xiaomi in terms of performance and productivity ( better / bigger screen and processor). Pentile issues? Nope, I do not notice it at all unless you bring it under microscope. If they can tune down the price by more than 100 to 150 USD, then Mipad 5 might be a good option. For its price right now in our country, it is not a good purchase option.
