Dr. Kurian graduated with his Bachelor’s of Physiotherapy at one of India’s top three universities, Saveetha University. Pursuing his passion, he went on to specialize in orthopedics and sports physical therapy by acquiring his Master’s of Science Degree in Orthopedic Physical Therapy at Quinnipiac University. As the profession progressed, Dr. Kurian has increased his depth of knowledge by attaining his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at University of Montana and continues to stay afloat with the current trends and changes that arise in the profession of physical therapy. He is now the founder and director of Enhanced Physical Therapy in Mineola, New York.
Dr. Kurian is the first certified Mulligan practitioner on Long Island and uses advanced mobilization techniques such as mobilization with movement. Dr. Kurian also implements a variety of different techniques including Cyriax, Maitland, Kaltenborn, McKenzie. He utilizes an integrated manual therapy approach to provide each patient with the compassionate care they deserve.
