The new deck looks more cohesive and the larger images make a huge difference. Plus I was always bothered by the borders on the majors, making it feel like two separate decks that didn't want to work together.

How do you edge the white without getting that smeared all over the picture?

Very carefully? :D No, it really is a matter of pointing the marker towards the back of the card along the side, not having the card face the marker, the brush tip helps keep it on the side, and truthfully, a lot of just doing it. I would grab a cheap pack of playing cards and the marker you wanted to use and play around with it!

I was a bit disappointed with the guidebook, little info on it. I have the edged deck, and it's fine, but the guidebook is meh...

You actually lose some of the image with the mass market deck, which is really disappointing to me. I'd rather have the full image.
