I can't get over what a simplified system he works. I love it. Just take down, half guard, body lock and then well timed step out of guard. Like everything simple there's huge technical application.

Cool to him having consistent success in competitions. He had so much promise at the beginning but then lost a lot. He seems to have fixed his game and brought it to a truly elite level. Beating that guy who beat whats-his-name from Gordon's team was a big deal. Last time he fought Gordon he broke his foot and finished the fight with a deep sub locked in on him. Sure seems like Nicky might be ready for another go at the GOAT. Dethroning Gordon after all this time and the story between them would be so epic.
