Great video! This is quickly becoming one of my favorite guard passes because it is so easy, smooth, and effective! For anyone hating on this pass, watch Jay Rod vs Giancarlo Bodoni (ADCC 2024). Jay Rod hits this pass multiple times and almost gets the full guard pass repeatedly! I can pass lots of peoples guard with this! I’m dubbing it “the Magic Bullet” because of its speed and effectiveness!

@@ChokeArtist411I see that part but he let go of it when he hips into the knees to smash them together. I think by then he can’t put the necessary pressure to lock in the mir lock and go because the knees are smashed together and he circles around for the pass. I think only then there’s no way he can mir lock you as long as for one you clear his framing arm and immediately go chest to shoulder to close in the gap so he doesn’t pummel in or set up for a whizzer/mir lock and then continue to control the bottom arm and go from there. I’m gonna practice this for sure.
