The comp course isn't designed to be "hard" It's designed to be a realistically achievable for people who are newer to the game. Comp lobbies are meant for people to play competitively. Not to play as the "best". As long as people are focusing on playing the objective in comp, that's all that matters. If you're looking for a high level experience, the only way to get that is to organize with pros in some scrims. That's how it is in every game with a higher skill cap. Eventually the general player population will be far below what you can do with enough time. Goodluck with an MMR system for gorilla tag. There's been lots of discussion of how it might work, but there's nothing currently in the game that can measure how "good" a player is. Maybe the next game AA makes?

@@ultramegaman2012 here's the thing, competitive was SUPPOSED to be for playing with people your skill level or ABOVE AVERAGE PLAYERS. This is the problem with comp, its easier now than it was before the course. Also its made for actual GOOD players not people that need to learn. I have always been in comp lobbies because I have always exceeded the expectations for a "Pro" or above average.

Except a lot of the time I play I might as well be in casual. I end up sitting in one place for minutes without any chase and half time I get tagged it’s by running into people who are oblivious in a tree or camping ground or slip slaps. Not to mention everyone is so annoying and hates on the good player.

You gotta understand that when lemming did make the competitive obby, he visioned competitive players as people who did wallruns and wall bounces. And the more the game grew, the more tactics and mechanics were introduced which made people even more better than others. And people who did complete competitive course, are competitive but just aren’t catched up to modern tricks like walking on slippery walls. So not everyone has to be very skilled and the same level as you to be considered competitive.

Comp does suck. The past lobbies from my around 4 to 5 months of unlocking comp, it’s been horrible. People use unity and people use steam. People have the audacity to use steam and unity to be better at the game, it’s just sad. It’s so horrible. So many 12 - 5 year olds are in there, and so many people think I cheat because I’m better. So many people also think I use steam or unity, and I’M NOT! Almost all the reports I get are false reports of me cheating somehow. They give no evidence of how I cheated or how I’m “ruining the game.” I’ve been banned like around 10 times for cheating, when I’m not. Like dude, ITS COMPETITIVE!!!I don’t know why it’s so bad now. Comp is horrible now, and thanks for reading this. One more thing is that lemming and the devs make badges of beginner, bronze, silver, gold, diamond, emerald, and platinum to show our skill at the game.

In my oppinion competetive kinda sucks. Me as a 14 year old comp player around top 200 in the world or 233, i always get accused in pubs of, long arms, mods, unity, shibagt etc. i think they should like actually change pubs and reset all of the Competetive queue, and just make a really hard course. It would be way better and More playable (i know ranked exists) but thoose are private lobbies, i want to play pubs, LOL. I also met like an Literal 10 year old using overwide wordscale i could tell he sounded like 6 and had Unity i mod checked him. Many people just cheat nowadays In COMP, its really Poopy, and bad. I always get reported like every single day that i sometime have to ban evade. Because i just want to play the game normally and not always get accused (ban evading is bad i dont recommend) i only did it once because i got reported 3 times in a row in 4 lobbies so 3/4 or them i got reported. Its like unplayable imo, its stupid and dookie. I hope lemon/Lemming fixes is. And i look like im modding because im on this headset called a, HTC Vive Pro 2. and it has a bad mic it sounds like quest 2 airlink. Its kinda cheap like 600$ so its very laggy but when you have good wifi then not, i dont have good wifi So thats Why i look like im fricking cheating. I found some people using Unity (like i mentioned before) and some had them turned up so high LIKE BRO its was super obvious, and they didnt get reported and i did and got called "Bro if youre bad and someones better, dont complain buddy" (an literal year old said that btw) And the guy who used unity didnt get reported and i did. Some children said theyre like 6'3 and they werent they were also using speed boost and i always mod check. And for my age i would say i have an avarage Height. So yeah Comp Just sucks.
