That's not true. The protection effect of pendulum call is all one effect. So it is also negated by ash blossom and therefore wisdom eye can activate in scale.

That pendulum player in the second duel could have tributed the negated Hieratic link monster (cost not effect) to get its effect of being tributed summoning aether the evil empowering dragon to banish either the token or the hayate. Well the token was better because sky striker could have gone for kagari but yeah. And he wouldnt have to worry about normal summon raye because he already normal summoned sphere mode. It was basically gg then.

Xerodynamicz Go learn rulings mate. Anchor is basically a veiler. I'll draw it for you. Spheres is currently negated. It activates its effect tributing itself. That effect is negated. Then the if this card is tributed effect activates while it is in the graveyard therefore itd no longer negated. Its the same thing as sangan negated by veiler. I really am kinda pissed off you are so certain giving out mistaken rulings. Do some research to make your rulings better. If you just googled veiler vs sangan we would have no problems. But you had tp be the guy "thats how I THINK it works, so thats hpw it works"

Fulmetalfoes does nothing. Metalfoes fusion however has an effect where you can shuffle from grave to draw a card.

The oaf in game one should not have been destoryed by afterburners because of the pen call and he didnt pop a scale because of pend call as well. I am only like 10 mins into the video wtf

@@thesmeef just read the card. Didn't see that there was an "also" conjunction in that effect, thought it was multiple effects, in that case this pendulum player fucking sucks. He should have popped a scale added the darkwurm back or the chronograph back, draw a card summon the card he got back because he didnt normal summon that turn and then continued his plays to at least be able to get one negate out if nothing else. He is just not a good pendulum player any way you look at it.

Honestly Cimo never has a decent pend player on the channel but it is a high skill level deck. Little things like what you mentioned can just lose games that you otherwise would be able to win or at least be alot harder to beat.

Ok, too many misplays to write them all down. Could you pls point out misplays so newer players will learn from them? I think it’s not good to not point out the best play possible. People will think that that is the limit of a certain deck if you don’t correct it. I understand that u can’t know every deck but you could get trif or someone else for a video with pendulum and they can point out misplays. And so on for different types of decks

I am playing Endymion pendulum magician and on the turn you activate pendulum call pendulum magicians in your scales can’t be popped. That being said he wasn’t able to pop his scale. Its the drawback of pend call :(

Uhh very first duel the pendulum player could have popped his scale with electrumite to add back darkwurm and draw. He hadnt used his normal summon so he couldve normaled darkwurm. He could have linked darkwurm for elpy and electrumite with wisdom-eye for triple burst. Thus getting a full guardragon combo. I haven't even watched game 2 yet

Hardcore misplay game 1. Pen player never normal summoned so he should have popped one of the scales (whichever was the low) and still added the darkwurm. He could've normal summoned the darkwurm and added gate (if he plays a second which you should be if you aren't) to get the low scale back. Link the darkwurm into elpy, link the electrum and the wisdom eye into triple burst, and do guardragon stuff. He could've at least ended on sphere and vortex (assuming whatever the trap the striker player set wasn't a strike or something).

Like that pendulum player could have done powerful plays on his first turn in game 1. After pen summoning he could have made BLS link and been a pain in the ass to striker. Ash Blossom negated Pendulum Call, but Pendulum Call discarded Darkwurm for cost so that cost goes through. I believe for a card to resolve, the activation and effect have to resolve, but the effect of Pendulum Call was negated, so Pendulum Magicians can be destroyed. Chronograph isn't a Pendulum Magician though, so it can still destroy itself.
