Super compilation Bob and a great show by the various 37s! At least one of them are now owned and based at Bo'ness on the Boness and Kinneil heritage railway e.g 37425 , 37261 etc. We have quite a selection of them and have become experts in restoring them. Great work and best wishes! Ken

Regading the shot of the 97 in the weeds. Is that an old colliary branch line that they were looking to recommission ?

It's the line to GCG and was re-opened within the last 10 years, after being closed for about twenty. Unfortunately the coal traffic it was opened to convey is now getting very sparse.

It piqued my interest so I looked back in your archive and found an excellent video from Jul 2012 of a class 150 NR yellow measurement DMU in th GcG branch (once again deep in the weeds) that you didnt include in this brilliant compilation. That video made it all much clearer for me. Thanks for this, much appreciated..

A very good point, and one I can't argue with, it's just that the wonderful HST in all their guises, are now worn out beyond economic repair

Many are Rural lines where weed killing is not a priority Kev, The two 97's were at Gwaun Cae Gurwen, which is on the Branch up from Pantyffynnon off the Heart of Wales Line from Llanelli to Shrewsbury....Little used these days. Many thanks...Bob
