Since the last video I've been knee-deep in a whirlwind of new experiences as a Chinese language student at #xiamenuniversity in #china. It's been tough trying to figure out how to edit all of these experiences into some videos but I noticed most of them began with "This is the first time I've..." so I've decided to put together a compilation of firsts. This is part 1.

I am a Singaporean Chinese. I must say that your Chinese speech is really very good. With rare exceptions, your Chinese articulation, intonation, and tempo are near perfect. Slight improvement can be made in flow spontaneity. Congratulation.

Xiamen is a great place! 20 years ago I recommended a friend to study chinese in Xiamen University. I've beeb there for 2 monthes also. One of the best cities in China!

The subtitle at 7:11 is "非遗文化" but not "非议文化". "非遗文化" means 非物质文化遗产(Intangible Cultural Heritage).
