I'm the camp mum. I probably dropped like 2000 hours into Diablo 2 helping new players. I'd just drop a lot of my loot so newbies can get a leg up. (P.S. I could literally solo ubers so i'd pretty much beat the game in every way it could be beaten except the holy grail list)

One of my favorite noob stories is from the orlginal Everquest. We were in middle school and our friend, Shawn, started playing it first and talked a few others into trying it out. So, me and my friend Jeremy bought it and started playing. After we created our characters we started in Freeport. Shortly after that, Jeremy is in Freeport shouting, "does anyone know Shawn from Windermere, Florida?" over and over. I still laugh about this to this day. Of course, he wasn't even on that server so he never got the benefit of seeing that awesome display of noobism.

Love the skit with Adam and rowan, herbalist vs assasin perks. Rowan was so toxic with Adam's choice, then got humbled. Adam did not respond back with more toxidity instead tried to see the good points in Rowans choice because Adam was humble and genuinely enjoyed the game and class he played.

This video got me nostalgic. Another noob thing I did when I was new to MMO's and a lot of computer games was also in Everquest. There were some guys that used to shout, "ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US!" and then someone else would say, "SOMEBODY SET US UP THE BOMB" and then start counting down. I used to run and zone out because I was afraid that the zone was going to explode. 🤣🤣 😂

While I never sherpa'd. The other day I used the Finder to do some warlord's runs to get bones. Ended up with a two man group who kept apologizing due to their amount of deaths. Apparently one was teaching the other the dungeon. I just told them it was all good, I had all day and was not at all bothered by the deaths or struggles. One of them expressed surprise as apparently it's common I guess for Fireteam Finder players to be assholes or something? I dunno, I had fun.
