I have 2023 lexus rx350, a few issues: 1. Only one digital key to be shared, only one person can have access to start the car from the mobile app. If you have two people using the car, only one person can remote start the car via the app. 2. The lane centering feature only works when you're on cruise control. Even though you turn it own, it won't work until cruise control is used. The dependency should not be there. 3. Remote start with the Key fob is not working properly, hit and missed. It should just be one pressed of the lock, then pressed and hold the lock again for 3 seconds, would be better. Honda works 100%. 4. The app and profile setup is very confusing. It's still not working yet when me and my wife switch driving. 5. The price of the car, should have lifetime connectivity.

Good feedback and hope Lexus will see your comments. With the key remote start, press lock twice and the third time press and hold. It would be better to just create one account and login to two devices. That seems to work better. Seems to be an after thought when they designed the app.

I either can't understand logicality of lexus some function. Lexus should learn from other luxury brand to make functions simple.

@@Tomcc305 I'm not sure why the remote start needs that many combinations of buttons. I'm assuming it's to ensure you don't press the same button with your bum and accidentally start it. I do agree that some stuff should be easier.

I had the same issue with the trim and clips (prob #2), but Lexus was aware of the isuses and fixed it free of charge.

I saw a vid on the Car Care Nut channel about the Lexus moon roof. He said the the bolts that hold the moon roof up have to be tightened in a certain pattern or the glass will be stressed and break.

It does sound like it, but selling over 100k vehicles... need to see how many really have issues. If we see 1000 vehicles, then yes.

My 2023 Lexus RX 350H AWD, bought in April this yr, moon roof glass spontaneously shattered while driving on highway at 75-80 mph on Sunday, 12-17-23. Lexus dealership thinks it was due to something hitting it due to glass pieces fell INTO vs OUT of moonroof area. Now they want me to file a claim with my insurance vs it’s a problem with their RX350 model and them repairing it without charging me. Did anyone who had this issue notice if the glass pieces fell into the moonroof area? Looking for advice/help

I have RX 350 F Sport 2023 yes my RX 350 did has front trim on dashboard came off on June 2023 it happened when the weather really hot that when I knew and on driver side door latch, I cannot open when it’s under 35 degree It was unable to open door other three doorsfine😢

First model year issues. I believe the door handle does have a fix, just haven't seen it officially in a TSB yet.

Posted this on another related video. The shifter. It is irritating. You move it forward to go in reverse and move in backwards to go forward. On top of that, if you are like me, and drive a manual also, you tend to keep your hand on the shifter. This is not a good idea with this car. On at least 3 occasions, I had to pull into heavy traffic while making a right turn doing it. In the process, the centrifugal force caused my right hand, which was resting on the shifter, to slightly pull the shifter to the left (just from the weight of my hand resting on the shifter). The car immediately went into Neutral, coz, well, to go into neutral you just pull the shifter to the left. Anyway, in doing so, the engine would rev up really high coz I was out of gear. Traffic is bearing down on me, and I tried to get it back into to drive, but NOOOOOO, it isn't that simple. I had to literally press the break to put the damn car back in drive. This nearly caused me to have an accident. A terrible design. Another driver I know with the same car was rear ended in the car wash, because she could not get the car back in drive from neutral at the end of the wash, and the car behind her slammed into the back of her Lexus. Another issue is related to Park. If you put the car in Park, while pressing the break, you cannot put the car in Drive, until you take your foot off the break and repress it. I've also noticed that the brake pedal feel is terrible, nothing like it feels on other cars. I noticed if I am not careful, even after I stop at a stop light, the car will suddenly start drifting forward making me have to press the brake pedal down even harder. Absolutely terrible. And, of course, when you push the pedal down more, the eco feature that turns the motor off kicks in (which BTW I'd like to permanently disable but can't seem to). Having to pay for premium fuel is a downer as well. The Lexus service department told me I could use regular unleaded, but what sort of problems will that cause in the long run? I'm sure they would be glad to fix any problems that might occur. The turbo charged 2.5L also sucks. It is noisy, sounds just like my Toyota Rav4, which also has the 2.5L engine. Imagine that. Not what you would expect from a luxury car. It does lag on acceleration as well. I just leave the car in Sport mode. I would have rather had the V6. The over aggressive safety features are an irritation, making the drive experience suck. I hate the car and wish I'd never bought it. An update. Apparently so road debris has cracked the condenser of the air conditioner (the technician says he has seen this before), leaving me with a $1200 repair. Why is it so easy to damage the AC condenser from road debris?

It sounds like you have an RX350 and certainly have a lot of complaints as well. I have seen a lot of people complaining about the shifter and I have also done a video on that as well and how to use the shifter in different situations. This shifter has been used in other Lexus products like the LC500, LS500 and some Toyota products as well. It definitely needs time to get use to it. I'm surprised that you were not able to get it back into drive after going into neutral. I was able to do that while driving and switching between drive, and neutral with no issues. I drive a PHEV, so I don't feel the RX350 engine turning off as it's mostly off for my drives. I guess you are just touching the brakes enough for it to stop and if the car has a little movement it jerks forward. The turbo engine is a 2.4L Turbo and it's noisy, but I don't feel it as noisy as the 2.5L in the RAV4. Especially in the RX. I'm surprised that debris would have cracked the condenser as the car is fully covered already. Unless something else damaged the protection covers, it would unlikely have a way to get to the AC condenser. Sorry to hear about all the problems.

Acura RDX has the same issue with the rear trunk glass. People had broken yet Acura said it was now under warranty. Now there is a recall and a class Acton law suit about it.

Hi i have 2024 RX hybrid premium plus. When it shift from EV to gasoline the engine is quite loud. And stays like that. Is that even normal?

That is normal. The 4 cylinder engine is not as refined as the V6. The RX is already better compared to the NX. You typically would notice it more because in EV the car can be very quiet and then when you compare that quietness to the engine noise, it definitely amplifies the noise. The engine is more noticeable when you are in the power band in the hybrid gauge.

the panels are a known issue and they replaced mine no issues. 7k miles and she is perfect so far.

I have a 2023 RX450h+ the PHEV model, my moonroof didn’t crack, but I hear nocking/rattling sound all the time from within the headliner, I took it to the dealership, they tried to fix it without success , it’s 2 months old, and now after watching the video, Im worried

My 2023 rx350 has an annoying vibration in the dash at 80/100km per hr and the Bluetooth always stops working.

What phone are you using to connect to the bluetooth? Did you bring it back to the dealership to check out the vibration? Would it be the tires causing the vibration?

bought rx 2023 nov. Brand new vehicle shows transmission issues intermittendly. nobody knows why.

Seems like it is… I was as of today considering the 2023 over the 2022. Obviously by now I’d be purchasing a used model but I suppose I’d rather go for the 2022. I’ll have to do further research on the 2022…

I'll suggest a used 2023. The reason is that the 2023 should be less prone to auto thefts.

I have the same issue as described in issue #2. Lexus will fix, explaining clips for the panel were manufactured too small. They ordered a modified panel with larger clips. Why this wasn’t discovered in the design stage is disappointing.

Glad they have a fix for it. It's disappointing, but definitely they addressed it on the assembly line after they found the issue. Just unfortunate, that you had to go through it. Typical issues with first model year vehicles.

I think it's normal to have issues. The only one is the moonroof where multiple owners have had them crack or explode.

Dash is designed to collect dirt and dust in the crevice and the radio is impossible to work while driving. We passed. Want real buttons

2023 8,000 mi. The car hesitates off a stop when hot outside. This happens with auto start stop turned off. Can be dangerous when entering a road with traffic. Doors hard to close. Left foot rest on driver side too big. Protrudes into footwell too much. Causes driver not to sit properly not sqaure with steering wheel. Uncomfortable.

@@lsft The hesitation needs to be fixed. Maybe it throws a code when the dealer checks it. If not,,it's going to be hard to find the cause. Bad.MAF sensor at 8K miles? Maybe., will see. This new 23 not near the same quality of 2021 RC.
