I have a 500h and it has major turbo lag and the transmission shifts rough. The throttle response is so bad that I thought I was going to get hit when I made a right turn from a stop. I’m going to take the car in to the dealer next week to get it checked out. It used to be a fun car to drive but not any more. Also the AC doesn’t seem to be very cold.

I thought of getting an NX but decided on a top spec CX5 turbo. Had it now for 1 year with zero problems with the car, everything works as it should and drives nicely. Sadly can’t say the same about my experience at the service centre.

Finally got 2024 Rx350H luxury fob. Waited about 2 months to get it. How do i set up my welcome screen and settings like wife has. She is primary driver of this car. Thanks for the info.

These two cars aren't even in the same price range. Also, the 450h+ is a plug-in, the Signia is not. Better to compare 350h, which comes out to about $4,000 more expensive than the Signia Limited with similar options.

I went with a top spec CX5. Now 1 year and no issues at all with the vehicle, everything works as it should. Can’t say the same about the incompetent mechanics at the dealership though. Damaged 3 of my wheels at the 1 year service. Tempted to try an NX for the better Lexus service quality however given the CX5 itself is going ok and there are a few apparent issues with the NX it may be more wise not to jump ship yet.

Brand "cache" is worth several grand for me, as well as higher resell value. That's the same reason some people drive Audi A3 vs Golf, Audi Q3 vs Tiguan, Macan vs Q4.. etc. etc.. for the same price, unless the extra bit of room is important, I'd get in line for a NX. PHEV makes the driving experience so much more quiet and luxurious feeling..

I just found out in Ontario, I can use HOV lane with my green license plate during the rush hours. The 450H+ ultra premium does not come with the "tech" package, and is smaller than Signia. As an new immigrant from Taiwan, I picked the 450H+ ultra premium coz it is well priced. I just wish they can lower my insurance.

I wonder if it better to use non-ethanol gas than premium with ethanol. I heard they last much longer than Ethanol based gas which is important for nx450h given we mostly on electric and rarely fill up.

I love the interior of the LBX. It’s so nicely laid out. Simple, minimalistic and functional. No big screen stuck on the top of dashboard, no weird mismatched lines or cavities, and the suede trim makes is feel cozy and luxurious.

I am a Canadian in Taiwan, and I am on the cusp of buying a 2025 NX 350h. I am feeling apprehensive about pulling the trigger because I worry that the 2026 or 2027 NX might be significantly revised or improved. Any thoughts?

you shouldn't have to pay for remote connect....you already bought the car. the only option i like is the car starter but i just learnt that you can use your fob to do it. No need for the lexus app. there is no way i will be paying. its like sirius radio....its works like AM radio....doesn't work everywhere...the signal gets cut off in tunnels or buildings.... why would you pay for that. i told the sirius representative there is free radio why would i pay.

Toyota is get hammered left right and centre first it was the false emissions saga now these Recalls. At least the LC500 and GX550 models are not on the list.

Has anyone figured out how to upload a photo in the app's account details? When I click on edit personal details and try to attach a photo, the only way that works is by taking a picture with my phone camera. If I choose the option to attach a photo from my gallery, I get prompted to enable app permissions in the Lexus app but al my permissions are set to allow communication with the rest of my device's apps. No matter what I try, I cannot upload a photo from my gallery Is anyone else facing this problem? Using android btw.

European perspective : we had many problems with the Lexus Link app at the start of the NX 2nd generation but, since the latest software update and the upgrade to the Lexus Link+ app in 2023, the situaiton has changed completely on our side. The stability has become litterally 100%. The last hiccup we had here, was with the "2050" software update that added 2 new settings in "Info & Security", requiring a formal validation for the data transfer to the Toyota servers and the use of some voice commands, which could not be synchronized properly to the Lexus account for many drivers. Personally, I was impacted by this issue and could solve it myself empirically by "forcing" my account re-synchronization, but I know many drivers who used the "System reset" function to solve it. This seems to be somehow close to your own experience... Although the "remote connect" functionalities are different in North America and in Europe (+ Asia/Australia), I have the feeling that the software architecture in the vehicles and in the Toyota servers still lacks of robustness globally and that the weaknesses we are experiencing on both sides of the Pond are of the same nature. On my side, I'm still lobbying Lexus to acknowledge the shortcomings of their system and propose an extension of their connected services, following the multiple problems I had during 2022 and 2023 that prevented me from using them normally. As an early adopter, I feel I should not be considered as a Guinea Pig !

I do have issues with my Lexus App for past 1 week. I thought it was because I switch from virgin mobile to Fido. I couldn’t see the charging status. Luckily the problem solved magically after watching your video.

We have a 2022 NX350h, bought it used a couple months ago (Alberta). We ended up deleting the Lexus app from our iPhones as it caused connectivity problems. We also went back to the dealership, but they never responded to the list of issues we had with the app. Connecting Apple CarPlay over Bluetooth works fine so we just won’t use the Lexus app as it isn’t worth the hassle.

How frustrating - looks like the connectivity issues were regional. Colorado USA had no issues during that same time frame. I think the battery statistics and notifications should continue to be included for the life of the car. Can I do without app-based lock/unlock/remote start? I guess so, if I can use the key fob for those functions and have the car set the interior environment correctly. The remote app functions and alerts are nice to monitor a temporary “dog mode” though.

So, I've decided to buy a trickle charger. Would you know the charging mode that I should put it on? So many options are available GEL, AGM, Flooded, EFB, Calcium, SMF🤣🤣 Thanks!

crown sport would have MADE MORE SENSE! if TOYOTA wants to be more "SPORTY" as they already have the GR86, and GR SUPRA.... owning an RX500h F sport LEVEL 3... and receiving amazing Lexus sales and service defeats anything TOYOTA can honestly do on their level.... Once you go LEXUS it's hard to go back... The NX is also better than the CROWN in my opinion... sucks that Toyota nerfed the Crown Signia by not providing their HYBRID MAX engine.... and only being cheaper by 3k MSRP to the CROWN sedan... just baffles me that they only offer this engine on the Crown Signia... The Mark Levinson Audio system alone beats any JBL system that Toyota can Offer.... Also the RX NVH is FAR SUPERIOR to anything Toyota can do....

I wish they have brought over the Crown sports, don't really need that long of a car (Signia). Think I will wait until next year to see if they update the NX, hopefully with less piano black, 5th gen hybrid drive train, regular tires, less boring looking dash design on the passenger side, and more updated exterior styling like the RZ. Make it happen Lexus I'm throwing my money at the screen!!!

I have a NX hybrid and my next car would have been the RX hybrid. Now it doesn't make sense for me to buy an RX. Plus the Crown has that camel colored leather which I wished Lexus offered. The RX and NX interiora look too much like a Toyota and not an upscale, luxury vehicle
