hehehe I am so sorry but for reals. French curve is just a template with curves that you can use in your drawings. You can see any images of it on google and it will be more clear! Why is it called french curve? I have no idea....

How do you figure out what direction the prevailing wind is for any given location?

Try searching "Met Office ( country x )" as it covers everything you need to know about a country's/region's climate. It is a .gov website so its reliable.

I have no idea what it's like to actually perform a site analysis while on site. I would imagine that I would be trying to gather data in relation to all five of my senses and all seasons of the year however many seasons you have. I guess the goal of a site analysis would be, to be able to describe to the client the overall ambiance of the locale in a site plan drawing. Is that correct?

Its always best to make all your drawing to scale. Mine is to scale because then it makes it easy for me to go back to it and check any measurements. Oh that is great!! let me know it the comments your questions and I will add them to the next Q/A video :)
