What exactly was the Ainulindalë? Because it did exactly create the Eä did it. Was it the equivalent of a blueprint or a simple prediction of Eä, and Eur allowed for the Ainur to add to it, including Melkor?

It was a song they all sang together. The song was for all the Ainur, so Melkor was allowed to join like the rest. The song ends up being about the universe Ea, and everything that happened within. When it's over the creator showed them a visual representation of the music. He then made the universe real.
