COMPLETE CROWSONG MAP • Nothing Left To Lose

Taking place after Open Up Your Eyes & Waiting In The Wings: Crowsong still fueled by anger, despair and guilt tries to push away Ashkit; the last little positive anchor and glimmer of hope to her life and future. When her attempts fail she resorts to revealing the horrid thruth of her actions to the tiny kitten.
Ashkit, being her first casualty and unaware of what followed after his demise, originally blamed himself for not helping his distraught cousin before it was too late. To a small kit who's world is still all black and white he saw no future in starclan for himself, but the terrible revelation given to him changes everything...

This whole video was originally meant to be an animation done by just me and Turrkoise, Detective Calico joined in and provided backgrounds for most scenes, but we ultimately realised it wouldn't ever be completed without help we set it up as a multi animator project and it turned out SO amazing!
This is also one of the most collab-dense MAPs completed so far and it's been super inspiring and cool seeing so many lovely people work together and support each other! Not to mention how fluently parts flow together to tell this story. I hope you all enjoy this video and please make sure to support the artists who worked on it!

I love how Ashkit's lineart flashes white for a moment when he realizes he was lied to. The lore for this story says that cats only go to the dark forest if they believe they did wrong, so him flashing white for a moment shows his belief is faltering. And then the wings at the end confirm it. I do wonder why there are two stars though. Ashkit's parents watching him perhaps? The scenery of the waterfall is STUNNING, especially with the music. It almost makes it feel like some ancient ruin or sacred ground. If it's the highest point in the dark forest that would make sense, perhaps it's the known place cats go to ascend to StarClan if they've changed their beliefs? Poor Crowsong though, truly alone now. I can't imagine how she'll change after this, she's been through heartbreak after heartbreak and now she's lost the only cat she had left to lose. It's a pretty big shot in the dark, but Crowingheart is said to be in the dark forest as well, maybe she'll end up meeting her grandfather. As far as we know he and Crowsong are the only two CorvidClan cats in there. AND OFC FINALLY THIS TURNED OUT AMAZING!! Great job to everyone involved, the red lighting is so nice to look at and you all made every scene so lively despite the action being limited to basically just two cats walking and talking.

It’s so frustrating that Crowsong ended up there and none of the cats that neglected and abused her will, bc they don’t believe they were in the wrong. It’s pretty real commentary on actual abuse though. The victim always feels like it’s all their fault and the actual abuser gets off Scott free

Theory for credits scene with Ashkit: Either, the two stars are his parents in Starclan. As he spreads his wings, he is preparing himself to join them and leave Crowsong to her fate. Or even go to Starclan to get help to rescue her soul. OR could it be that two cats from Starclan are coming down to rescue him or even Crowsong? Maybe Weepingwind and Omensky? Who knows! So many ideas! Amazing work from all the animators, and I cannot wait to see where the story goes from here.

@@Katosik_47 Ashkit was killed by Crowsong, and he believed her suffering was somehow his fault because he didn't know what happened. (He was born way after her). So he rejected Starclan and came to the darkforest on his own, I think.

I love how after Ashkit’s belief falters, the shines in his eyes also go from red to white. it is such a tiny detail to put on top of the lineart flash and the wings, but props to the animators for keeping that detail!

2:55 I really like that smol moment of the starry pelt of StarClan peaking out for the first time for Ashkit. If I remember right he felt like he belonged in the Dark Forest, but maybe now that guilt can finally be put to rest for the tiny kit.

When Ashkit realized he didn't deserve to be in the dark forest I felt SO BAD for him! IM SUPER HAPPY THE MAP HAS BEEN RELEASED! All of the animators have done an AMAZING job on making this! It's a masterpiece! The lore to Crowsong's life is perfectly made and I loved how you used a song from Tangled. Kind of silly that Ashkit has the voice of a young adult/late teenager, but it doesn't ruin the amazing map.

I absolutely ADORE this MAP. Crowsong and Ashkit’s stories are more intriguing than any canon wc I’ve read. Crowsong is so dark and broken, in a mature way, and the animators represented it perfectly! The atmosphere is brilliant, the animation so smooth. Everyone did great in bringing this story to life.

I ALWAYS come back to this part in particular! -> 2:22 and forward. That bridge with the vocals coming together is CHILLING! and that panning shot just brings it all together. It shows that it bothered Crowsong that Ashkit is right but she will never admit it. she shakes her head multiple times in defiance against what Ashkit is singing at her. she believes shes in the right and will stick to it and defend it. amazing job well done to everyone who worked hard on this project!

Yes. The whole clan couldn't let go of their black fur purity. She was born with white fur and was bullied a lot by her fellow clanmates She started hating her white fur. I don't know much about this since this isn't my story to tell.

I just watched all of your Crowsong MAPS and I've never been so invested in Warriors OCs,tory is truly heartbreaking. The fact that Ashkit was the only one in the dark forest shows that NONE of her clanmates, who have hurt her far worse, believe they have done wrong by hurting her, and that's so horrible. I hope Ashkit makes it to Starclan but at the same time I fear for what will happen to Crowsong if that happens

MAN i knew hardly anything about the backstory/lore of this when i watched this a few hours ago,,, but I went and watched every single crowsong video and read all the lore i could find, and rewatching it now... hits hard :')

WOW! It was awesome seeing the individual parts as they were created, but seeing them all together is just fantastic. The MAP turned out AMAZING and watching the beautiful expressions of emotions in the characters faces being on par with the strongly emotional singing was an awesome experience, the animators did a spectacular job on the lip sync and the feels of the animation, and the storyboarding helped make it all the more visually pleasing and exciting to watch- this MAP is essentially a whole song where two characters are walking and singing, but even though that is all they are doing I couldn't tear my eyes away because of how captivating it was! Hats off to Lou and the other animators for an amazing MAP

I honestly feel sorry for ashkit. None of it was his fault but the rest of his clan's. Yet he took it upon himself to take the blame when the blame was never his. Should he have spoken up? Yes. But he is just a kit surrounded by scary and horrible adults. No one can expect him to do that. The true blame lies with Crowsong's father who neglected and abuse his own daughter for years. In my book always an offense to go to hell unless one makes changes and does better. which he didn't. But because he feels no blame he allows to go to kitty heaven which makes star clan corrupt. I'm sorry star clan is corrupt for that. I honestly want these two to get peace or earn their way into star clan. although crow song just did what star clan wanted and she supposes to be there anyway. She and ashkit.

Rewatching through these is making me think. If Ashkit goes to Starclan and ends up talking to his murdered clanmates, maybe even learning it's their fault that Crowsong was pushed to her breaking point.... would an innocent kit who rose out of the Dark Forest calling them out cause them to fall into the dark forest? Because it's based on belief.

This is absolutely incredible, I love watching the complete style changes that happen almost mid scene but still flow into each other beautifully- I'm excited to see more and more of this story be revealed, everyone did fantastic on this!

Woah, this was incredible! Every piece was so amazing and it all flowed really well together! My cat was very ingested in it, got really close to the iPad and watched the whole thing-I thought you all would smile knowing your works amazed multiple species too! :D

This has so much emotion, AUGGHHHHH- can't stand it! Also, this is so well done and I love the art so much. I love the bitter relationship where Ashkit is always trying to show her what path not to take, but she becomes angry, and never wants to listen to his warnings. Louixie, this was another awesome production!

Bravo, Bravo everyone!! This turned out so lovely and it all came together extremely well. Each part just went with the next, the animations all looked marvelous, and the dedication, heart, soul, and skills that were put into this project shone very brightly here and were stunning to watch and experience! It's been so interesting getting to know more about these unique ocs and their stories, but the fact that they have been turned into things like this just makes them more impactful, knowing that the interest in them is so strong and worthy of being made into these wonderful MAPs.
