I have a yz250 f 2001 And could not get swing arm bolt out. Having a press is great but most people cant afford or have room for one. I used a map torch and socket extension to get mine out. Heat up bolt hole for awile then hit it with extension and it should pop out did it with mine. Good luck

Using map gas worked great for me removing my swing arm bolt on 2001 yz250f. Popain gas is not hot enough.

You are a genius bro, I wish I had a friend like you. I bought the of these recently but it isn't running. The crank would not engage,what do you think is wrong or what should I check??? Anyone's help would be appreciated greatly.

You may have the same problem as me: bottom end bearing on the rod shot. That means taking the engine completely apart 🔧

Where is the best place to order a 250 Yamaha YZf engine head
@TristanDurandBuilds3 жыл бұрын
I’m not sure but you should definitely look at eBay and if you absolutely want new I would check partzilla 👍

Is there a washer that goes in between the transmission and bearing? I have a 04 YZ450F and the 5th gear is skipping. Seen video where you said dont forgot this washer when you was putting a engine together once and you said that. I think it was your video lol

Getting parts for a 2001 yz250f is impossible. Trying to get parts for it in 2022 is one peice at a time no rebuild kits that would make it cheaper. So if i were you dont bother getting a 2001 or older yz250f because parts are getting limited to none existent for them what a shame sucks to be stuck with this yz250f 2001 for that reason only.

How much do you think the engine weighed?

Do anybody know.. When I turn my petcock switch on, don’t no gas flow down to my carb
@TristanDurandBuilds2 жыл бұрын
Sounds like your petcock is clogged by debris. Remove the tank, take the petcock off, clean the tank with hot water, put a new petcock in.

@@TristanDurandBuilds I forgot to mention that when I take the tank off..and I turn the petcock switch the gas flows out perfect…It’s just when I connect the line to the carb there’s no flow at all
@TristanDurandBuilds2 жыл бұрын
@@dionbray4048 well, there is no flow if your carb float is shut… the float maybe shut because it’s seized or simply because the float bowl is already full of gas…
