Vinny is amazing! Once again he diagnosed the issue on first sight. If you recall, the first thing he did after seeing the bike was to take a couple of dumps. He was indicating that the exhaust system, and specifically the valves on the exhaust side, were okay. But he did NOT eat or drink anything, indicating that the intake valves were closed or too tight. He blows my mind how accurate he is with his diagnoses! Was he born in a shop, descending from a long line of mechanics’ dogs? 🔧🐶

At first I thought that if the bike had a decompression mechanism that decompression mechanism was stuck open a little ways, but didn't know that the valves being set wrong slightly would make such a huge impact on its compression, as a 2 stroke guy I'm glad to learn this about 4 strokes

Absolutely a great score, I look forward to more of your content .. valve train is the reason for so many people getting stumped and giving up, you are doing great work just keeping it simple, that's why you succeed... Don't ever overthink it, because then you have gone past the problem.

@Nasty Habitz I can't tell u how many videos I've watched on my ATV or dirt bike. I learned so much from KZbin it's not even funny. And Facebook groups. But mostly from having to start from scratch on my old 88 kx80. It still throws people around somehow. No shocks either. I never got to fixing those. But she hauls asss. I call her the 2 kick bandit. Almost every time. 2nd kick does it. Bbbrrrrp. 😂 Gotta love it. Taught myself how to ride on it, matter a fact. Now I'm back in to ATVs. I wanna get a king quad for whatever reason

Nice video always love those easy fix cheap finds. You’re holding the quart of oil wrong. If you turn it 180 degrees so the angle is facing down it pours smooth and won’t gulp. The oil sits low in the angle of the quart and the air goes in through the gap at the top, everyone holds quarts upside down and makes the oil gulp out instead of a nice flow nice and smooth how it is designed and supposed to.

I am sure you have heard this before but troubleshooting and teardowns on newer models ( something this decade) are much more in demand. Also a lot more to get into but the ROI for a 2020 2 stoke is ridiculous now a days. Plus you cant beat the engineering of a new design, especially the Austrian brands.

Nice! 👌 Good catch on it being the valves adjustment and obviously having an extra 2 quarts of oil in it. That'll put a damper on just about every motor I know of. Luckily no blown head gasket from that. Pretty Awesome man! Just doubled your money right there. Give or take a little bit. I know it's not all about the Benjamins. About 85% though right! Lol. Really though, I just started watching you on KZbin not even a week ago. And you are the real deal. I've learned a few tricks already. I saw a video about stage 2 Hot Cams being set to .20mm ex and .15mm in and not the recommended .17mm-.22mm ex and .10-.15mm in. plus the buckets are usually too tight for 16+ years old bikes.
