Madison - you have wonderful children but you have to stick to rules you set...If you don't reinforce the rules they don't learn and won't follow them... Once you do - cleaning will be easier for everyone... My rule for my children was to put toys up when you're done, don't pull everything out, and clean up after yourself...I reinforced it all the time then it became 2nd nature and they just did it without me saying anything...It helped me so much with being able to get done cleaning faster and using that much needed extra time for other things or some me time!!

Hi madison, can you do a decluttering series? I feel like it will help you with your cleaning and make it easier for you. Declutter every space in your house one at time. Thanks for the video dear

Dear Madison, I think you should start by controlling the toys that enter your house. Almost in every new video I see new toys/stuff in the playroom/kids rooms. Maybe fix yourself a limit like 1 toy/book/game per kid by month/two months/3 months and try to keep on it. I have 4 kids aged 15 to 5 and my kids get toys only on Christmas and birthdays + occasionnally a board game (one for the family)/a smart game/an educationnal game. And it's absolutelly enough. It just boosts they creativity and makes them care for their stuff (we have almost all puzzles, board games and toys as hand me downs from my eldest child, in perfect condition, and we continue to pass them to our friends this time). They learn to value it. Just maybe put the money you safe from buying new toys in an enveloppe to finance a family trip or a house improvement to motivate yourself. You are such a patient and caring mama, it is absolutelly enough for your kids. Your love, your time, your energy are enough, you don't need to buy them stuff to be a good mama and to make them happy. Safe your energy and time for better thnigs than constantly picking up stuff and decluttering. Best regards,

Haaaaa! It was me who made mention of the homeschool upstairs and to have more dad and mom only spaces. I did not mean the home school in the upstairs office. I meant the storage of the home school materials stored in the office and the actual schooling to take place at a table chair area in the playroom. That playroom is HUGE! Honey, I know you love your children. I love mine too, but you need some adult “me” zones. Just my humble option. I still love your content and have for years; it just pains me sometimes to see you having to do the same clean ups over and over again.

I'm new here watching from Utah this is my very first the video I'm watching of you and I did subscribe because I like the content you give I can relate where it's easier if I just do it by myself I'm a mom to 5:00 and my youngest ones are 6 year old twins and a 2 year old baby boy and yeah it's just easier to do it by myself play me when they get older you know that's where I'll start teaching them you know how to help and stuff like that I did start my own KZbin video with motivational cleaning but I stopped because I had a baby right when I started it and just got too overwhelming but I love your content and I'm glad I subscribed

The rule in my house when my kids were younger is that if they got a new toy they had to get rid of an older one they didn’t play with anymore. This always helped keep the clutter down.

Your kids can easily learn how to pick up their own toys and know where they go. They are old enough ..even the baby can learn. That’s part of responsibilities. Everyone needs to be responsible for something.

You don’t have to have all those toys. Get out and do fun activities, visit with friends or family, etc. you don’t have to be couped up in your house with a bunch of toys all the time.
@MadisonHopperCleaning8 ай бұрын
We aren’t cooped up in our house all of the time. My kids are in activities, we go ion field trips with our homeschool group, etc. We just homeschool and do have to be at home to do that. My children are also still very young. So staying home is sometimes more enjoyable. They like routine.

Too messy & untidy! This would worsen my already terrible anxiety 😫. I cant imagine this dosent add to your already stressful days caring for children. Tidy up EVERY day - clean the kitchen between meals & EVERY night before bed. Maybe you can get a helper if your budget allows it? I used to assist my sister with her kids often as she struggled alot to be tidy with young children. Her children are now older & shes a clean freak now! Nothing outta place. Hopefully this is just a season for you.
