Thank you for posting the video. A couple of suggestions. There is no real need to push the pistons in. If you suck out the fluid in the reservoirs and top them up - then attach the hose to the bleeder and put the hose in a bottle with any fluid in it so the end is under water. Crack off the bleeder. Slowly pump the brakes through their range pushing the old fluid through the lines. Keep an eye on the level of the reservoir. On your final stroke tighten the bleeder as you have pressure. Pump the brake and hold pressure. Lightly crack the bleeder, let a little fluid out, tighten the bleeder. :)

You have to manually bleed the brakes 3 times in between the 3 auto pumping as per instructions!

Actually it's bleed, pump, bleed, pump, then bleed one last time

Great video, thank you! I could have sworn you were going to say "careful not to drip any brake fluid on your baby" when you were doing the front brakes!

So, the instructions from 911 are like: 1. bleed 2. abs flush 3. bleed 4. abs flush 5. bleed Do you think it matters if you do it your way?

There are several ways to skin a cow they say hehe. I'm no pro but it worked fine with me. :) Best luck

@@SocalGates The point is to bleed any air out each time you pump, otherwise you're just cycling the potential air in the system and not entirely removing it

front brakes don't need abs pump flush?

thank you very informative

You need to flush then activate pump bleed. Repeat three times. The gs911 instructions on screen outline step by step. This is important if you want to keep your pump in good order / reduce the chance of failure

Agree - you want new, fresh fluid through the system so that when the GS-911 does its thing there is new fluid there to replace the old fluid in the inner workings of the ABS system.

HI Ray, Great video! Thanks for sharing it. I have one question: Is the motorcycle on? (not motor), but do you have the contact on for bleeding, so the ABS system is activated. Or the electrical part of the brake system should be completely of? (I don't hear any ABS system noise in the video when she press the pedal). Thanks.

Enjoyed. So how much did you invest in the ABS pump and computer software? Also you can loop the tubing in a circle at caliper, to prevent air into caliper just open the bleeder and pump over and over while adding fluid until changed. Done right no air will come into caliper.

I do my own services but not sure I would use the GS-911 enough to justify. That is a neat device. Now if I go to BMW for brake fluid job and they want over $300 may reconsider.

Hi, I don´t understand where the brake fluid gone from the abs pump because all the brake lines and calipers nipplen are tighten front and rear!? I have a bmw s1000rr abs and gs911 and I want to change break fluid but I don´t understand that part ``now that the old fluid is out from the abs pump`` :)

So... you might as well not do it then. Good luck with that.

Is possible to flush the fluid without the GS 911?
@dramithai8 жыл бұрын
OK, and the bleeding process is usual, bleeding the caliper, press the lever etc... Dont I have to take off the tank and bleed the abs unit like old models? Thanks a lot for your help my friend..

How much fluid did u use on the flush?
@JCCamp6 жыл бұрын
So... the instructions on the screen tell you quite clearly how it’s supposed to be done: - bleed brakes once - flush 1 - bleed brakes again - flush 2 - bleed brakes one last time You just ignored the instructions completely. Not much of an instructional video...
