I found that the M6 (6 mm) screws for extraction are way too small. When I used M6x40, the screws went through the cover and onto the engine case screw hole. I then had to use extractors to remove those screws causing lots of extra work. Did anyone else experience this issue?

I placed the clutch kit in my 1200gs LC 2015 model couple days ago and I followed the instructions , torque the bolts at clutch basket 10 N and when i was ready and started the bike i heard a dance noise from the clutch basket , time to time it stops and then back again , also when im pressing the clutch lever also stops, but no problem( yet )with rest engine behavior when im riding. What sould i do ?

Hello Jeff E, thank you for your response and also your interest in our products. We do not mark our plates. You would just measure the clutch pack to ensure the correct height. Hope that helps. If you need anything else, please let us know at customerservice@rekluse.com. Thank you!!

Great video, very professional. Can you tell me why they saying that to replace the clutch on the GS 1250 or 1200, that pretty much you need to separate motor? Was this in older models? Thank you.

The older non-liquid cooled R1200GS had a dry clutch that needed the transmission and motor separated to replace it.

My stock clutch on a GSA is going at 97K miles. What kind of life can I expect from this clutch pack?
@RekluseMotorSports4 жыл бұрын
97K is impressive. This clutch pack should reduce heat and increase life over stock. If you ride the same exact way for another 97K this clutch will last all of that and more. Generally speaking we see 2-3 times clutch pack life with our TorqDrive products. In your case this may be a stretch but would expect more life.

@cesarcerecero49224 жыл бұрын
Hello, great video!! Question, what is the difference between this clutch and stock??
@RekluseMotorSports4 жыл бұрын
Hi Cesar, Thank you for your question. Our TorqDrive clutch is a clutch pack replacement meaning we will be changing out the friction disks, steel drive plates and pressure plate springs. What makes our product different is our unique steel core TorqDrive frictions disks. Our disks are thinner than OEM so we can fit more into the clutch pack (12 disks instead of 8). The benefits being more torque capacity for reduced wear, reduced heat and increased power transfer capability. Clutch feel and modulation are also improved. If you have additional questions, please don't hesitate to reach out.
