LOVE IT!!!! We have a mini 6'x3' coming out... I do see alot requests for 6'x4'. I recommend 6'x4' because it uses more of the material you purchased and there is less waste. This one is on the pipe line, very soon. Thanks for watching.

@EverydayShed thank you, the location it needs to go will not accommodate 4 ft. deep. It would mean moving a raised garden bed and that is not happening.

I’ve watched a few of your videos and found this one exactly what I need for my solar shed. (For housing inverters and batteries) I’ll insulate it with 2.5” thick 4x8 papered foam board with drywall on the inside. Great ideas and workmanship. (I’ve already built 4 shops and shed on my property, but find your ideas useful.)

Do you plan to do a video for a 12x16 shed? The walls and door would be similar to a smaller shed, but what about supporting the floor and roof on something larger?
@EverydayShed7 ай бұрын
Yes, it’s in the books. On a 12x16, the floors you would need at least 4 skids … I know homedepot sells 4x4x16. I would design it that way.

@EverydayShed5 ай бұрын
Thanks for supporting the channel!!! The exterior sealant is actually caulk to be used on the trims and nails when building the doors. I did not have a chance to caulk and paint this shed. Good luck on your build!!

I just purchased the plans and have a question on the right nails to use. I noticed for the nailgun nails you recommended an interior rated nail. My understanding is if you are nailing into PT wood for the base, you would want to use exterior rated. Does it not make much of a difference?
@EverydayShed4 ай бұрын
Interior nail should be sufficient, specially since we cover everything up with siding, and roof. You only need exterior nails, if you don't cover them up.

@EverydayShed4 ай бұрын
Yes, this gun works for both, you just need to buy different nails for each application. www.amazon.com/shop/everydayhomerepairs/list/1YZ4NA4JO1GNY?linkCode=spc&tag=everydayshed-20&domainId=influencer&asc_contentid=amzn1.ideas.1YZ4NA4JO1GNY

We don't have a nail gun and are trying to decide if we should get one for projects like this, or just use screws. Is a framing nailer the only nail gun you used for this, or did you also have a finish nailer? Thanks!
@EverydayShed7 ай бұрын
Hey there... i also use a finish nailer to nail the trims, but it's so little trim work, you can use a hammer for that. Good luck, let us know how your build goes.
