Its better to water blast and paint outer housings for a fascinated look after the restoration and also better to use hot and cold theory when it is fixing bearings too..

Hello Brother. I am writing from Türkiye. I also have a 1984 model xl 125 r engine. There is a fault in the valves. I cannot repair it because I cannot find parts in my country. Are there other Honda models compatible with the valves of the Honda XL 125 R? Can you please help me with the technical issue?

Honda CB 125 S has the same engine. Only gears are different. Try on AliExpress. You can find plenty of Chinese parts. Check dimensions before buying with the parts you have, mostly sellers mention them on website.
