This was really informative and well done instruction. You certainly know your business. In Missouri at our house, we had a nice gas log set professionally installed in the late 1990’s. It worked fine for many years. And in 2010 got an upgraded gas log set, professional installation. And we started having trouble with it running a short time, then shutting off. The log installer was a bit stubborn to say our copper gas line wasn’t adequate to supply enough pressure? Even though it’d worked fine for many years. We continued to have a intermittent problem. So finely contacted the local gas company, they tested the outside gas meter, and thought we needed a larger (corrugated steel gas line) a run of about 35 feet. The gas company installed the new line for us. And ultimately this is what worked. We haven’t had any trouble. And we so much enjoy our gas logs. And even have used a couple times when there was ice storms and power outages. 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️🐈🐈
