You could tell that this jackfruit it wasnt ripe by how “hard” it cuts through 😊. If the knife sinks right in, it is ready. The fruit could be half “hard” and half soft sometimes, So it could be a bit tough finding out without cutting if you arent fond wit jackfruit. You seem like you know what you’re doing though but how i was taught was before you buy it, you can squeeze all around it to seem how firm or soft its exterior is depending on your preference. Skin color doesnt matter either. My mother always told me “you can smell it if it is ripe” also! great video! & she’s so cute!

Thank you for this video, I just bought my first jackfruit! 🙂 a question though: can you freeze the seeds as well? Raw or roasted/boailed?

Cristina Morris lol I tired it today and it was so good 😊. I put a pinch of salt and lime on them at the end.

Adding lime sounds good! I’ll try next time. Thank you for the feedback, Jeremy!
