just converted the bluetooth from the old remote setup, to the new.. the bolts didn't work, too short, not sure what the deal is?? Do you know what the 5mm bolt is supposed to be length wise?

I bought one of these yesterday. Contrary to what he says in 4:55m, it does not include the self cleaning bag. When I chatted with their support they said that the video is 3 years old and they have put a disclaimer at the beginning, which I still cannot see.

What's the difference between the HEPA filter and AC filter in dust filtration? I will be using ct36 m extractor for drywall sanding and also for other applications that AC is not required so was thinking to get two filters and exchange them between the applications together with bags. I understand that HEPA is not suitable for autoclean function but does it filtering better/same/worse than the ac filter? Also would be possible/okay to use plastic bags whit all applications (like general cleaning, wood dusts) or it's better to swap the bags and filters in between applications . Hope all that makes sense Many thanks

The difference with the 2 filters is the type of material used for each as the AC filter is required to be flexible to enable it to withstand the cleaning process. The AC filter ,along with the open plastic bag, should be used for plaster or concrete dust with the AC function on, so that it cleans the filter at the required intervals. When working with general dust ,wood dust etc, the white self-clean bags can be used in conjunction with the HEPA filter without the AC function in operation.

Do I really need one of these for a PLANEX 2 or will my midi be ok? Im only sanding down paint on walls and ceilings ready for re paint. No drywall filler.

If only sanding paint then a Auto Clean extractor is not required. The AC extractor with an open bag system is necessary when sanding plaster due to the fine particles that will clog an enclosed self-clean bag.

Only the ct 48 comes with the green hose, the 36 comes with non static black or Grey color

Using the plastic bag seems to just completely trash my vac/filter in about 10 minutes 👎🏽

Hey Dan. Thanks for letting us know. What type of dust are you working with? The plastic bag is designed to keep the suction level consistent when extracting concrete or plaster dust, whereas the white self-clean bag would clog when extracting these types of dusts regularly. Also worth noting that the Autoclean extractors can be given an extra clean by using the blast gate and the manual function. Justin

Hi, question! I just bought the 36, but I haven't set it up yet. Will it automatically work with the batteries with Bluetooth or do I have to buy something special to sync up this dust extractor with my battery operated Festool tools?

Great question! For that model you need to buy a Bluetooth module and have it fitted to your extractor so that the Bluetooth batteries (or a remote control) connect.
