Well thought out system, your definitely organized and more importantly protect your tackle from real fishing- rough water, bad weather, day after day use. Bag inside bags aren't fancy looking but really protect your investments. Great video SMC, thxs for sharing.

I’ve been switching over from boxes to bags lately for a majority of my gear. Love the Megabass Clear Pouches and simple Ziploc bags. Great video!

Great video! I agree tackle organization is fun and relaxing, and also ever evolving. Interesting to see that my system is fairly similar in a lot of aspects. Looking forward to part 2

Awesome video. Really shows what you need as a guide as well. I have a ton of gear as well and keep it very organized. My biggest issue is when I go out with some friends on their boats and I can’t bring all my stuff I normally take on my boat. I started trying to make a system to grab and go for those situations. Have you run into this issue and if so what is your system to break down your stuff into a limited carry quantity?

You are single handedly responsible for half of the micro plastics in our oceans after watching the video lol Seriously though, the amount of fishing you do vs me isn’t even comparable, but I do have some system differences. It would drive me nuts to have to dig through multiple layers of plastic bags to get a certain hook, I mainly rely on a bunch of 3600 Plano edge boxes for all my terminal tackle I frequently use. I also use 3700 boxes for my commonly used plastics, so much quicker and space efficient than digging them out of bags.

Excellent !!!! Love the CD case idea and the Amazon bags. I personally am hooked on the Plano edge boxes for most storage now .

sweet vid, Travis. I've been looking for the best way to organize my stash since the early 90s, and have just recently found what works for me. I have adult ADD and my new system prolly won't work with most folks. crazy.

Great video and storage tips. I'm trying to find the storage bags you have that are black with the green on the zipper. I tried your link, but no success. Can you point me in the right direction? Keep up the great work!!

What are the smaller ziplock bags in the bigger zipper bags? They seam very durable and clear.
@Geoonthegrind5 ай бұрын
I figured you would use the black bags for smallmouth the same as you mentioned black latches on your boxes. Or did I hear that wrong?
@jersey47552 жыл бұрын
Some great tips there! Thanks for sharing. When combining multiple packs of soft baits (Flatworms, Little Generals, etc.) I'm assuming there is no noticeable adverse effect of "cramming" 4 to 5 times the number of baits into one pack?
@19empire852 жыл бұрын
You must buy 1000s of zip lock bags in multiple sizes lol seriously though I have a small fraction of that amount of tackle and I wish I was half as organised. I need a system like that to only bring what I need but I have a hard time leaving anything at home. I usually carry a duffel bag style with like 5 3700 boxes, and tons packs of plastics, like 6 or 8 rods and thats as a bank angler, and in the end I generally just end up throwing a ned rig 95% of the time😆

On your line bag with the bigger holes you could add a Yakima baits corkie and your bobber stop to fill the hole and stay in line

Travis. Awesome video! I labeled all my boxes this winter with a labeler like you. Quick question: How do you keep the stickers from peeling off the boxes? Do you add something like a little superglue?
@SmallmouthCrush2 жыл бұрын
My labels stay pretty good. If you want put a piece of shipping tape over it when done.

Can you tell more about your smaller paddle tails. I use B-Fish-N AuthentX Series Pulse-R, but they don’t seem to last very long, sometimes one fish. I am fishing for walleyes . I know your a bass guy. Some of the smaller one I tried are to stiff.

Great video. But what about when you’re newer into fishing and don’t have those “confidence baits” so you’re still buying all different sizes , colors of all tackle, baits and all sort of different brands. Also I’m realizing that buying tackle needs to be more thought out . How do you go about buying tackle and building a stock pile like you have.
@SmallmouthCrush2 жыл бұрын
I try to use basic colors that work for me. Most baits catch fisherman not fish!
