Good to see guys doing reviews and installs of HD products. Expensive but worth the quality and fit and finish. 30 years on Harleys and can't recall an issue with a Motor Co product. Recently I decided to save some money and bought a chopped tour pak from a co. that rhymes with hog and works. What a disaster of a company. First pak paint started falling off in 6 mo. They said they'd send a new one out. Two months later after constant reminders they sent me a USED one! I bitched and sent it back (costing me time and resources) and the sent me another new one. New one had pimples under the paint on the lid. I bitched and asked how they planned to make it right. They sent me an email saying that they could no longer assist me. They quit when customers service was needed most! Cost me $200 to have the lid repainted. I would stick to HD fellas. Hog works sucks and in fact, I will avoid all the Taiwan import parts.

I absolutely enjoy Harley Davidson genuine parts. Sorry to hear about your experience with HogWorkz, I have a few products from them, and I haven’t ran into any issues. But with any company your always going to get one ☝🏽 bad product that slips through the cracks. And these days, nothing is made in America anymore. Almost every part I’ve pulled off my Road Glide says made in Mexico or Taiwan.

Have you had the opportunity to compare the quality of harleys tour pack to advanblacks tourpack or hog works ? The big difference i noticed just in videos is the bottom plate in harleys pack os bigger and not just attached to the center of the bottom, like advanblack and hog works
@RAIDERWORLD9 ай бұрын
The HogWorkz tour pack stands right next to Harley Davidson. Only issue I ran into with HogWorkz, is that it does take some work to get it to mount on the Harley 4-point docking hardware. But once you break it in, it fits just fine.

I have been searching for days on how to install the rack lights, so thank you!!!! There is one thing I would like to know and that is which side do I drill a hole for the 2022 Ultra tri glide trike?
@RAIDERWORLD2 жыл бұрын
That’s awesome! Thank You for watching. Honestly, if I could drill my holes leading to the “under the seat” harness, I would drill on the bottom of the tour pak. Just to clean it up and hide the wires. I’m not to familiar with the 2022 trike, but Hopefully this is answers your question.

Awesome job! I have an 05 Electra Glide with a king tour pak but there aren't any lights on it. Been trying to find something so I can get me an up high brake light but so far I've not come across anything that will work. My 05 is the FLHTC that's carburated, and nobody seems to make any light options for the Classic, frustrated to say the least!
@RAIDERWORLD2 жыл бұрын
Thank You! Yeah, it’s unfortunate that there none available. Sometimes these lights could be slightly modified to fit with a little extra 3M tape to cover up gaps and create a better seal.

@RAIDERWORLD2 жыл бұрын
That’s awesome! Thank you for the Support Iris 🙏🏽 . For the antennas, you can buy shorty antennas, or there are different relocation kits that mounts them lower on the rear fender, or mount them on the tour-pak. Here a just a couple of links www.harley-davidson.com/us/en/shop/AM-FM-Antenna-Relocation-Kit/p/76561-09 www.surdyke.com/Parts.aspx?SubCatID=1755&catID=5&Name=touring&CatName=Antennas

That’s Awesome! Thank You. I would recommend either Ciro3D or custom dynamics. They have a few options for rear lighting that is bike specific and all plug and play. It’s fairly easy to navigate their websites and pick the right lighting for your specific model
