It would be a great idea if someone could make a tour package where you just change the lid to change the dimensions. In other words, one base and one lid could give you the chop looked but when you swap it out you can get the king look. 👍🏽

well it's just the opposite actually. The lids are al the same and the bases get deeper as you go. You have to split the tour pack to change out the lid so its just as easy to change out the base.

I just got my razor tour pack today. The paint was spot on. I did notice my older tour pack is thinner than my Amazon razor tour pack. Other than that this tour pack is the best and the paint match to me is spot on.

Question: I already have the mid size tour pack and it has that preinstalled pad. I bought the wrap around backrest to replace it with but wondering how do I go about drilling holes at the right spot? It didn't come with any kind of template like it did with your new tourpack light. Before i start drilling holes, I wanted to make sure I'm doing it right. Thanks in advance!

Can you buy these without the black seat/pad? I know it can be unbolted but then it would have holes in the plastic. I just want a king tour pack with no pad/seat. I don’t ride 2 up.

We prefer the king one all the time just because, you never know if you need to do some emergency groceries or get something. Plus you always get to lock up your helmets all the time 😉

have question for you involving the speaker lids you have on your saddle bags in this video. im getting ready for some upgrades as far as audio goes. if i was to use those bag lids, would i be able to open/close if i installed speaker pods on a king tourpack? not sure what the clearance is, and dont want to pull the trigger and it end up not working out for me. if you can get me an answer id really appreciate it. plan to order parts from Advan, at least all the painted parts before sending them out for additional paint for some custom work on top.

Good video, quick question, would the backrest pad on the razor fit on the King?

I suppose it would, however it will be super high on someone's back. Also please note that the wrap around back rest has 3 holes for the pad, two of those are out on the leading edges of the pack so when you pull it off and add the smaller one in the middle you will need 2 more holes in the middle and the outer holes will be exposed. If you are just ordering it you can call and ask it to be drilled for the smaller backrest and then put on the king so you wont have those holes on the outer edge.

No...you can still open your lids with no problems...I have 8" on my bike which stands way taller thana a normal lid and it still doesn't hit. It is no different than the HD one.

The solo bracket will need to be tall enough to ride up over the back of your seat. If it does, any tour pack will work.

We do not have a 4 inch fender extension for anything older than an 09...the bags will fit with a modification to the front saddlebag mounting bracket and the tour pack will fit if you re drill the holes to fit a pre 09 bracket that fits your bike.

I have the Harley Oem chopped tour pack. I want the wrap around back rest for it that you show on your chopped tour pack. Can this be done since all the lids are the same? Do I just need to drill new holes or why does everyone tell me this cannot be done? @advanblack

You can add a "razor/chopped" wrap around. Its the same as a wrap around minus the bottom part in the middle that would hit your fender on a shorter pack. All you have to do is make a cardboard template and redrill the holes. The tour packs are pre drilled for the HD touring bracket but we have customers that simply predrill the bracket or the tour pack to match the holes up to install on non HD bikes all the time.

the chopped backrest will fit on the chopped and razor. However the mounting holes are different so tyou will need to drill them out. Mind that the holes are on the outside corners of the tour pack...so if you want to put the small one back on then you will have visable holes in the corner.

Everything is a seperate purcahse because not everyone needs the 4 point docking system and/or the tour pack bracket. Any bike that currently has a passenger backrest already has the 4 point docking system. Why would we make you purchase that if you do not need it?
