I was in a 2 bedroom suite on Encore in Feb 2020. It was the best suite experience and I've been on several NCL ships. The Horizon lounge and expanded Haven sundeck were amazing. The Haven restaurant was incredible.

definitely interested in the Alaska cruise next year on Encore, in the Haven (would prefer the penthouse large balcony room IN the Haven proper). LOVE your tour of the outdoor spaces as well, the front facing sun chairs (with full service and a nearby hot tub) would be my "go to" location every day!

Even though you pay upfront for tipping what would you say is the right amount of tip to give the staff bringing meals to your room and are there any other people you should tip when in the Haven, being from UK where the tipping culture is different I don't like to short change the staff who work so hard. Also love your videos you really are one of the best agents I've come across.

Sir, we have been on the Carnival Triumph in 1996 and most recently on the NCL Dawn Feb. 2020. We are in our early 60's and are looking to an Alaskan Cruise in 2021 or 2022. We really liked NCL's Freestyle dining option and in our case no kiddos would be attending, any suggestions and/or comments appreciated.

That really depends on what kind of experience you are looking for. NCL's Haven product is great for having that laid back private area, with that amazing observation lounge to utilize throughout your cruise. There are other options though, Holland does a great job in AK and so does Princess. And if you are looking for a cruise+land package (which we highly recommend) Princess has some amazing lodges that can be added on during a northbound or southbound option. Let us know and we are happy to help book your next AK cruise! Our goal is to make sure you get the perfect option for you and your spouse. Sorry for the double reply. I think that depends on what ship amenities you like, and if you want a larger or smaller ship. All of the breakaway plus class ships have larger Havens, but that isn't everything. We would always recommend picking it on the ship you like the most, and the destinations.

Very informative and great quality work. The only thing is the repetition. After the second room, I think it was ok to not repeat certain configurations or items that first we can see and second is obviously standard in all the rooms. Just an opinion.

If you invite friends to your room for a butler serviced dinner, do your friends have to be in Haven accomodations as well?

They would have to be in Haven accommodations, but depending on the sailing you can sometimes invite guests to dine with you at the Haven restaurant for a small charge.

Harr is incorrect. You can invite anyone you want into your room and also order anything you want from your butler. Your guests could be in steerage, doesn't matter. Now actually eating in the Haven restaurant, yes, you have to be in a Haven room to do so unless you get special permission from the concierge.

Norwegian abruptly just canceled out September Italian-Mediterranean cruise! Ship is going to dry dock. Only offered a 10% discount on future cruise within a year! Totally disappointed. Been planning this trip for over a year. Will definitely avoid Norwegian in the future!
