I've just got the grill in the mail and installing it tomorrow! My dad broke the stock grill and tore the cover so I thought while I'm fixing the cover I'll put a custom grill in as the stock one is a bit ugly!

If you're really careful, do you think you could cut off the top of the old grill without removing it from the bumper cover? That way you wouldn't have to reattach it?

I would not recommend that. It might be possible in theory, but I would be concerned with damaging the bumper in the process.

Unfortunately I don't know specifically of a video that shows the full process. The rear bumper is a difficult one to remove.

Mine just came in the mail, the state requires I have a front license plate on my car. How do you recommend I go about that without cutting a hole in my new grill for the tow hook

If you don't want to use the tow hook plate holder method, directly mounting the plate to the mesh might be an option. You'll want to verify this with state ordinance, and if you directly bolt it to the mesh I would also suggest a rubber trim around the plate so it doesn't scratch the powder coated finish.

If you don’t have a rotary tool how else can you remove the rivets?

It might be possible, but a completely different mesh and a completely different installation would be required. If you happen to be in the West Michigan area, we can look into seeing what we can do.

It's only available on the "Ultimate" trim level, and we clearly disclaim that the mesh piece does not work with that trim package. I do not have a solution for that version at this time.

It's possible, but there will need to be a big solid, non-meshed, portion that will look out of place. Cost would be high to develop and I'd need the car here in person to test it.
