I think it's because of the Maverick and the light unibody pick-up truck category that a lot of people have been wanting, but no manufacturer was making for the USA market until 2021. It might of just been CARB as the reason why we didn't get the Maverick sooner. For the wheelbase, the Maverick needed the hybrid version to get 40 mpg in order to also sell the EcoBoost version. Then there was a bunch of KZbin videos showing that other manufacturers were going to be competing with the Maverick, yet no other manufacturer has stepped up to the plate, officially. I think the one possibility that you missed here is Nissan, who is renowned for its adaptability of its factory floors. They are also revenue negative and have a half ton truck plant that is not being fully utilized. If Caterpillar wanted 7,000 pickup trucks built,Nissan could do it. Nissan has done this type of work for companies like Mercedes before. Then say John Deere wants 10,000 units. All of a sudden the Nissan Titan returns. Now it is likely true that Caterpillar and John Deere are likely not in the process of building a pickup truck. It is also possible that after seeing the interest on the internet for the product they could intervene and sign into a contract with someone like Nissan or Ma to build a truk for them.

It would make more sense for JD, CAT, etc to team up with an existing automaker to release a limited edition trim on an existing truck, like Harley-Davidson did with Ford on the F150. Since CAT makes their own diesel engines, I think it would unlikely for them unless they started supplying road-going engines for one of the automakers.

Ive seen alot of Cat engines in semi trucks, which is why I even questioned if this was true. Then I remembered there were other fake truck videos earlier this year.

International already had a partnership with Ram when they were fiat. I would think there wouldn’t be a lot that would need to be done to change up some styling with a new front end and slap some IH logos on it. Already had IH red and NH blue in their paint booths. That would be something I’d like to see.

I knew that was such BS that I laughed a minute. I saw it. There are content creators here on KZbin that are using AI to make all kinds of weird automobiles and trucks that they say are going into production and they aren’t.

It would make more sense for CAT, John Deere, Yamaha, Kubota to partner with one of the big manufacturers and build a special edition truck. Like a F.150 CAT edition or something.

Stellantis could easily make limited edition models with Case and New Holland badges on them. CNH is very much associated with Fiat/Stellantis and Iveco diesel engines. Ford might like to link up with Massey Ferguson variants of the Ranger and Fendt variants of the F range trucks.

lol🤣 on seeing the caption, I was like what. I gate to see this video, but honestly I don't take those hipper captions seriously until I see an official video from the Manufacture. for example, I am looking forward to see the new or refresh RAV4 Hybrid. I seer a few videos post on the 2025 oe 2026 RAV4, but I don't waste my time to look at then since I know Toyota has not relapse or tease any thing.

I mean, someone could take a chevy and rebadge it to cat. GM is doing it for Honda with the new Prologue EV, so probably they would do it for Caterpiller, John Deer, etc.

There are 20 states that will license UTVs. I have to believe that many of them will restrict where they can be driven. I even seen license plates on ATVs in Idaho.

I would like to have a midsize Ranger that did not need bracket add ons, for the bed, to make it Built Ford Tough. Since the Ford assembly line is not allowed to build them correctly. Very very disappointed.
