Display-wise, pretty much everything is alphabetical for me with the following exceptions: Criterion, Eureka Masters of Cinema and Indicator are by spine number, and Warner Archive is chronological by year of release (probably because I'm more or less collecting them in that order anyway)...

Hi, Dave. Great video! I'm new to Kino and I just picked up my first two titles this week, Barton Fink and Hannibal. Personally, I keep my entire collection in alphabetical order.

Hi, Dave! It's been a while since I commented! I actually have my Kino releases interspersed with my regular blu-rays. Same with my Warner Archive releases. And all together they are in chronological order because I think it's really interesting seeing the history of film like that in a way. I have my Twilight Time releases separated and sometimes I think about putting them in with these others.

Hi Bailee. I have been debating whether to go alphabetical for my entire collection except Criterion. Right now, Kino and Warner Archive films are alphabetical in their own section. Then I have some films organized by genre (comedy, drama, holiday films, action, horror, etc.) and director. It's a bit all over the place but seems to work for now. I do enjoy working on new ways to organize my collection. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. Hope you are doing well.

Nice Kino Collection. I love the label as well. I really dig all their silent film titles. If I may, I highly recommend the Lina Wertmuller titles & Fritz Lang box set. I need to get some of the 4ks they've been recently releasing. I'll admit there are some titles you have that I really would like to get but keep putting off. The Kolchak titles being a prime example.

I LOVE KINO LORBER! I must have at least a hundred, but I don't sort my movies by brand. They release all my favorites from the 60s and '70s! Their only problem is they release TOO many titles for me to keep up! And, regrettably, sometimes by the time I find a release in their catalogue that I want they're OOP which is really annoying - and expensive in the secondary market. BTW, you have a lot of titles I do not have! Bravo!

Same here and totally agree with your comment. Kino Lorber is one on the best labels out there and releases seem to get better and better. It’s hard to keep up with all the amazing releases though I’ve been adding a few more here and there every year.

I've actually made custom covers for my kino films and place them in release order haha. I'm odd I've numbered them all on the spine as well

I definitely have my Kino and other collections in alphabetical order. But my Criterions are in their original numerical order.

Fantastic collection Dave :). My initial KL purchases were animated titles by Friz Freleng. I have recently been picking up Hitchcock titles …. a handful to go … Blackmail, Rich and Strange, The Paradine Case and Lifeboat.

I’ve had a handful of discs over the years that are scratched and not all videos are playable from it. I’d maybe suggest opening them and checking the disc for scratches when you buy it.

I'm with you, Dave. I wish Kino would just stay with the black labels, too. It always throws me when I see one that's not a black spine. You're building quite the collection there and some great titles as well. They have the best sales, which I've had to avoid recently because it's easy to load up. 🤣🤣🤣 I did jot down a few titles that I still don't have that I need to check out. Very nice. I have my boutiques alphabetized within each label. As for the Kino spines, I keep the black label Kino Lorber Studio Classics separate from the rest of the Kino Lorber releases.

Kino Lorber service is pretty horrible. They shipped me 5 blu rays and they didn’t arrive for 4 weeks. then they gave me attitude about having to ship them. their customer service people are pretty rude too.

Impressive Kino collection. I hardly have any Kino Lorbers. They’re only available in USA, unlike Arrow or Criterion. I keep my physical media mainly alphabetical, except Criterion, Arrow, Kurosawa, Woody Allen, Coen, Jarmush, Steve Coogan, documentaries and boxsets. Oh and also DVD, BluRay and 4K apart from each other.
