my Dad had the game and I used to watch while he played. But the game was in english , and I'm french. Being unable to understand what the game was saying, anytime a soldier would die, I would shout "KA-JOH-TEE !"
@paulc52864 жыл бұрын
Actually i think the french version was a bit better, instead of just saying "Casualty", it said "Brother-of-arm has fallen" (and i prefer from far the french voice of the narrator)

You can really hear how this was a stepping stone for the Halo CE soundtrack; lots of the same MIDI instruments, drum beats, and even a tune that would later become the main Halo theme.

I bought all of The Black Company books and play all Myth soundtracks while reading - this game’s score is the best in my opinion ☠️🖤
@estefencosta18352 жыл бұрын
It's funny you say that, I recently started reading back through The Black Company again, I'm about halfway through, and I think it's an excellent comparison. Myth always evoked being a soldier in the midst of a desperate struggle. Not a protagonist, you're basically Croaker or Murgen. The narrator is the annalist. There are seismic events happening all around you that you may not even be part of but hear from others, and other events that you witness firsthand. Ultimately your role could be considered fairly trivial, if you take the perspective of the narrator reading his journal entries. He even buries the journal at the end to ensure it survives, similar to how Croaker was obsessed with the tradition of handing down the annals and ensuring their survival. I should add Marty's scores are all legend. From Myth to Halo to Oni to Music of the Spheres. One of one as a game composer.

Visit mega.nz/#!BjpHSBwD to download Myth II: Soulblighter (Portable, 1.8.1.) with some standard plugins. The file is 2.34 GB, so make sure your hard drive can handle that before you download. Simply unzip the folder into your favored location and run "Myth II". To make a multiplayer account, you must visit metaserver.gateofstorms.net:8082/account/. This is an insecure link so it should tell you to use Steam to make an account. Once you receive your login credentials, simply input your information in "Multiplayer Game", as shown in the picture attached. There may be a lite version of this download or a heavy version released in the future. This package comes with Fear, Loathing, and the camera speed kit all found in the pinned section of this channel. You may invite your friends to download, and to this channel using the pinned link found in the bottom of the pinned section of this channel. Thank you.
