I've also found USA made plumbing fittings will mate well together. Some Chinese fittings from big box outlets would almost bottom out before tightening completely. That was my first indication that they were not threaded properly at the factory.

What if you dried the air, BEFORE it goes into your tank?

Then you're either looking at an expensive intermediate cooler or you're risking your life trying to plumb in a cheap automotive heat exchanger, and I didn't want to mess with any of that. The condensate still has to drain, too. I really love my current system for what it cost.

While not worded in the most friendly way it is a valid question. It does not require any change in equipment. Only that you plumb the copper verticals after the compressor and before the tank. Getting rid of the moisture AND heat will make the entire system perform better. Just an opinion :)

@@nikoror6899 Thanks, I asked that from a point of curiosity, and didn't mean it to be accusatory or that he didn't do it right.

I can’t find your source for the tube straightener. Maybe it’s because I’m on my iPhone. Can you give me the link? Great video. I Liked and subscribed. I also have a Quincy 54 two stage and 3/4” Maxline. I liked your video. Thanks Paul
