This is one fantastic job you did there. The bonus part is the last music with the editing, I really enjoyed it.

A inteligência humana é admirável.

Interesting, when I was serving in Japan I observed a lot of this type of retention walls but never knew what went into building them. Fascinating. Thanks for posting video! PS - Didn’t realize there were prefab components.

I dont know what is more incredible, just how good and efficient these men are working or the ability to get the materials on site and the designing of this repair so quickly. Charles

A great summary of the whole project. The end result is stylish and will probably last forever ... but for safety of the road users, put the railings on the top of the retaining wall (19:44) 🙂

I'm going to be the bad mouth guy with the correct criticism..... Here we go 1.water flow in deep valleys is high velocity and always mixed with debry that stripes and crushes everything that it flows on. So the crushed stone at the bottom of foundation is the first and most critical part in that wall which will be eroded making the entire effort worthless... The crushed stone pad is not even crammed with a powered hammer on a heavy weight mover like a earth mover or heavy rammer which is again a failure point 2. The rods placed in the concrete foundation pad down not have loops/eaes/twists at both the ends and straight edeged which doesn't give them any point of anchorage, so when they are subjected to gravitational force they will just slip off from their place..... 3. The rear pieces placed after the first line of molded concrete forms are poured are also straight edged and will not be anchored anywhere as explained in the earlier point. 4. The back fill between the molded concrete wall and the valley is not rammed or stabilised after being filled in with crushed stone. Should have been at least flooded before the next played was placed so that that water and gravity could do their job to fill in the even surface and stabilised the filling.... This is from just watching till 8:13
