Haha its definitely been a learning process. Trial and error and you'll get there too, biggest thing I've found is just getting started and figuring it out as you go.

Where did you get your seat covers from? looking to do the same to mine!

Seat covers are from US auto seat cover on eBay. Great quality leather, used on a few of these trucks and IMO as good or better than original. They also have replacement seat foams too. Seat reupholstery on these is actually really simple, takes a half day I'd say tops for one seat if you've never done before and the results are well worth it
