Great explain ! so far u got evrything right beside of 1 thing = The Shield Mobs spawn a After death a Sword what gives u 25 - 50% Bonus Dmg and resistance for the full raid team since u debuff the Boss so everyone does more DMG ! :D Rest was Perfect explained :D

What drops we get if we do it more than once a day? Also, what is the typical timeframe for a good squad to kill the worm? 20 mins?

you'll get 1 Rolled Sandwurm item (scaled by expertise + 10 Gear Score) & 500 Umbral Shards for every completion. We were able to take it down in about 11 minutes. But, it's supposed to be increased in difficulty (more health etc) on live. So I would imaging your 20 minute guess will be a pretty good one.

I would go beast ward with chitin. I’m gonna post an updated version of this soon with everything we have learned. Our group had it pretty much on farm

Can anyone tell me why , when I claimed the sandwurn spoils, from level 90 and above on the season rewards, I claimed it and it never showed in my inventory, so I didn't claim anymore. Do I have to do wurm first to get them?! Or is it gone

You’ll want to slot Chitin padding. You need acid resistance.

It will have ward gear lol, the named weapons are actually BIS for when banes gone though a few illegal double damage perks such as enchanted + trench strike for GS or rogue + enchanted. Not sure these matter since supposedly we won't be able to upgrade current gear so even farming the raid gear for it won't matter.

Lol it kinda sucks for sure, but that change won’t happen until he expansion. So we still need ward /bane and the events of season 2 will still be dropping ward/bane gear unless something changes between now and season 2 release.

@@BDLG. Yeah I suppose in hindsight it's still 3-5 months away which is a lot of time. I just don't like the idea of working towards something and seeing it be gone later. The sooner the "reset" comes with hopefully ward/bane and resilient gone I can start to feel the desire to get gear. As long as getting gear is much easier I won't mind. Be a relief to remove probably 400+ items in my storages lol and clean it all up. It's weird to see them set up these events with wards as the rewards - they are going to make portals give guaranteed bane and ward for corrupt, but to see these changes in S2 to then remove it S3 seems a bit counter intuitive for them to spend resources on. It all leaves with so many questions we crave an answer for haha.

One Sandworm Weapon or Armor, guaranteed perks for a weapon you don't spec, in a weight you don't use.

It’s so hard to see the swipe coming. Any tips on what to look for?

It’s def tricky at first if your melee DPS. We have our tank calling our swipes because he stands a little bit away from the boss. I would recommend turning your volume up. There’s a sound queue that helps me quite a lot. There is also an animation before the swipe, but you have to be looking up towards the bosses head to really notice.
