Impressive! A 3dB reduction equals a 50% reduction in actual Sound Pressure Level or an 18.77% reduction in Perceived Volume Reduction!

Alubutyl sheets are for dampening vibration, not sound deadening. To reduce noise from outside you need to use closed cell foam or acoustic rubber as a second layer
