She saved her because they are friends. "Thats my friend, buster" is what she says before blowing her away with a stronger blast than what she had been firing before. Shes takes heavy recoil from that blast, Trist was pissed. Also before that lulus like lets have fun. And trists like sounds good. "Lulu laughs and throws her arms around Tristana’s neck as if she’s about to give her a big sloppy kiss." And then Trist rocket jumps into the fight with lulu holding on. She literally is grab on lulu beforeshe does it. They have a Semi serious x literal ray of sunshine dynamic thats hilarious and so yordle like.

Shes disciplined but she is still a yordle at heart. Some of her is still a yordle that does things for fun in the story, she waves back to the glade with a smile. She interrogates a rabbit. She does do things kinda seriously but how she fights definitly shows off her humourous side, she jumps from tree to tree,making wisecracks and jokes. Her in gam3 voicelines are the biggest giveaway shes alsofighting to protect the whimsy of bandle city. Lulu is also fuckin Lulu shes an incredibly powerful sorceruss and if lulu took a liking to tristana it woul be pretty hard to get rid of her. Lulu also understands the whimsy of magic she doesnt try tobend it to her will, she uses it how it wants to be used ittakes a liking to her. Every ADC needs a support to support their cause and trist's cause is the protection of the bandlewood a place of beautiful whimsical magic, Lulu is probably one of the best yordles to help because she isnt like her pluckybandle gunners.
