Thing everyone is missing about taking the Chargers job is the team is way over the salary cap and they’re more than likely gonna have to get rid some of those players Shannon named. The fbs should do a round of 8 (4 games) that are not bowl games, after the conference championship games, before the 2 college football playoff games and figure out a bye schedule. That will allow some wildcards to play in the tournament like Georgia, Florida St, you know.

@@AsianNIGMA I know what you're saying and this is probably why they've always had a committee vote on and rank fbs teams. There's 133 teams in the fbs. But I do think they can fit in a round of 8. Because the conference championship games are played the first week of December and the college football playoff games were played on January 1st. So these teams are basically getting a 3 week bye plus don't they get a bye week in their regular season? The 4 teams that lose in the round of 8 don't get a bowl game but they were voted into the tournament and given a shot at winning a national championship. The other teams not voted into the round of 8 from the top 25 or 30 or however many bowl games they wanna do are given a bowl game. The question for me is how many bowl games should a fbs team get or get to play in in one season?
