ShartimusPrime Biography:
Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

The generations rhinox is much better than the kingdom version, having owned both I can say the painting and sculpting on the older figure is far superior to the new with only the articulation being slightly inferior. The waspinators are a toss up between better scale and paint. Great video

These are the best Beast Wars figures ever made. I love them! You were right about an alternate Kingdom Cheetor. Very soon after the first release, there was a Netflix edition repaint with more show accurate colors to the original cartoon. I recommend that version over the standard release if you can still find it. Quickstrike was the scorpion character with the Southern accent. He joined the show shortly after Scorponok was killed off. I’m still hoping Hasbro gives us updates for the Fuzors, Quickstrike & Silverbolt. Your Transmetal Scavenger has his orange back hatch accidentally on his front torso. He wasn’t a Transmetal 2. Just a Transmetal. Thanks for making this extended overview of the figures, Shartimus! I too prefer the 30th Rhinox and Waspinator over the Kingdom versions. I’m split on Rattrap; The Kingdom version is too short and the 30th version is too tall. If I have to pick one, I display the Kingdom version. But I’d really like one more crack at the character. Have an awesome day! Love the Beast Wars love! One of my favorite TV shows of all time.

Truth, the Kingdom Dinobot is the Dinobot we NEEDED, after the vintage mold fell out of date, Hasbro just didn’t make very many Dinobots and they kinda sabatoged the great generations one with poor paint choice and a club for a sword. That’s why I bought two Dinobots, one for my desk and one for the Beast Wars display

The aftermarket pieces for some of these figures is necessary. Scorponok leg extenders and dinobot replacement feet, to name a few, take those figures to the next level.

Actually the scale is pretty much accurate to the toon. Optimus primal, was shorter than tigatron and dinobot, maybe rhinox. So scale is accurate. Predacon wise, I think terrorsor was same height or taller than inferno

In my case, I managed to acquire almost the entire series. I love them: one of my favorites is Black Widow , I must warn that her leg joints are very delicate. Beauty, Cherry of the collection will be Inferno, I am fascinated by all the modifications they made on it, in comparison to the first edition. I can't wait to receive it.

Inferno transmetal, I remember he never was transformed to transmetal, I got it the day my gradfather died. that was my last celebrated children's day, my last toy given by my parents (I live in Mexico, children's day is a thing) That day also came Metallica to Mexico (april 30th 1999) but I was too young and there was no internet, and I didn't go to concerts back then , so I missed Metallica... I was 12, now I am 37... I wish I had kept my transformers, such good memories

Shartimus I didn't take you as someone who liked Beast wars! learn something new every day! I skipped out on Rattrap and Rhinox from Kingdom. I like the Generations Rattrap, I feel he scales a little better with the kingdom group, and Generations Rhinox, despite the knee issues (Gotta find a way to strengthen the legs) I like the head sculp on him better. I am missing Taranculas and I was going to get him from Amazon but Amazon decided to cancel my order. So I bought him new off Ebay.. My favorite obviously has to be Dinobot. Not only is he my favorite character, I just like how they made him compared to the others. Tigatron and Airazor would be next. I also wish Cheetor had his damn gut gun!

Airazor is a falcon actually. These figures have been hit or miss for me. Some of the originals from the 90s are better in my opinion. In particular, Megatron, Cheetor, Rhinox, and Scorponok were better toys in the 90s, though not as show accurate obviously. Optimus Primal, Airazor, Dinobot, Tarantulas, and Inferno are clear upgrades for modern times.

I love the Beast Wars shows but I don’t like animal Transformers because they always look bad in alt modes, but j do have a few of the Kingdom characters. Airrazor, Dinobot, Terrorsour and Waspinator. Terrorsour was always my favorite cause he was BW Starscream IMO and Starscream is my dude.

I hate to disagree with you but the Masterpiece versions look 100x better than these versions. The masterpiece versions look like they were pulled directly from the 3D television show. Main downside of the masterpiece versions are their price, availability and the fact that not all the characters were made. This line seems more reasonably priced and easier to collect.
