Hi there! There's definitely overlap, and it's mostly semantics. I think of warmups as getting ready to sing, exercises as things that will improve technique, and workouts as exercises that will be particularly challenging!

How much time before you sing should you warm up. If you warm up 2 hours before you sing is that too much time between?

This is very individual. I think 2 hours before is fine, as long as you do a bit of singing here an there in between.
