This raid was a true battle of mental endurance. I was bouncing between quite a few streams and boy was it brutal. Especially 4th encounter where I say it really took the fight out of teams. Most of the time spent there really made the final boss harder due to fatigue imo. I can’t wait for the breakdown raid video !

6:47:25 has gotta be one of the best moments in raiding. I remember I was literally getting ready for bed while watching, then I heard and saw ATP and Datto both locking in with the music growing more intense, signaling that they were both getting close to the end. That reaction when we saw ATP become the first ones to conquer the Verity Vault, the Great Equalizer, was immaculate. So many hours put into it finally paid off, for probably the most satisfying conclusion to a raid encounter ever. Just… *chef’s kiss*

The people hiding the screens…. Oh boy that’s going to be a hot topic for a while but there reasons I’m personally disappointed in it is because Twitch Rivals went out of there way to put an event on to help us showcase our game to new and maybe returning players and we ruined the opportunity but doing stuff like that? I understand the team who won didn’t stream but that’s completely different to streaming and not even showing the game? If you are signed up for Twitch Rivals specifically you should HAVE to show the gameplay beyond that I can understand it’s all fair game but don’t hinder the growth in the community. Imagine a new person being like “Oh what’s this with so many views, let’s see what everyone is watching” and you tune into just a facecam with noises or a photo of something else completely? Again I understand normally but if you are a part of Twitch rivals or something similar you shouldn’t be allowed to hide it.

Listen, I understand as a streamer, you want the best chance of winning, but when everyone hides their stuff, what's point in even streaming? As a veiwer, this was probably the worst raid race experiance, and there's probably going to be more disconnect.
@CataclysmicDuck7 ай бұрын
They're not trying to be "entertaining"; they're trying to *win*. Sharing their comms could help other teams catch up/pass each other, so when they're trying to learn new mechanics they mute. Datto was unmuted for most of his stream - only muted at the start of each encounter til they learned mechanics.
@BasedEMT17766 ай бұрын
@@CataclysmicDuck Then they should've streamed for free and not constantly whined and begged for subs and follows. They wanted money and clout, but straight up announced they didn't GAF about the paying customer. And you're here defending them. Amazing.
@cos023 күн бұрын
Because there are also the viewers who understand that during this competition, silence and discretion are key in giving the opponent behind you a means to catch up instantly and potentially overtake them on an encounter that they otherwise have spent multiple hours on trying to solve. I get it that some viewers such as yourself may need constant engagement and the normalcy of a regular stream, including the transparency of the gameplay, but in these rare circumstances, most of us understand that "loose lips sinks ships" especially in this competition and we're more invested in seeing _who_ completes the race first, rather than how. And most of these teams do it too. Even if they're un-muted earlier, as soon as they catch up and start to overtake their opponents by figuring out a new strategy, they mute themselves and put whatever censors. That's just part of the game, and you're measured by who crosses the finish line and when, not by the entertainment of the stream itself.
@BasedEMT17766 ай бұрын
So deserved that everyone doing the screen blocking lost to people who weren't even streaming. To shout out that you don't care about your PAYING VIEWERS is next level. But what irritates me more than that, is people will stay subbed and continue watching someone that willingly volunteers he doesn't GAF about you. Just wants your money and clout. 'Grats to Parabellum. Honorable mention to Datto for eventually uncovering the stream and showing stuff.

Well, using your logic, only streams could be counted towards winning because there's no way for Bungie to properly verify, I know I've said before that it feels wrong that a non-streamer won, but mate, respectfully, you're more wrong

@@varisrevolver4061 Yeah I specifically meant for streamers or people who send footage for Bungie to watch.
