A mesmerizing show at the time when I was a kid in Chicago, when most segments on Garfield Goose and other programs were cartoons. Never thought in a million years I would ever see it again. Thank you KZbin! To see this more than 50 years later brings tears to my eyes!

Most people had black and white tv's back in early sixties. Color televisions didn't become widely available to everyone until later in the decade.

What a blessing! To revisit a past memory! I have told folks about this but never knew it still existed. Wow!

I used to watch Ray Rainer in the mornings before walking to school and then running home to watch "Journey To The Beginning Of Time" on Garfield Goose show (at lunch I would have a bowl of soup and a sandwich while I watched the Bozo show). I watched a lot of TV (channel; 9 on World's Greatest Network WGN).

Garfield Goose was my very favorite show way back in the day in the suburbs of Chicago. This was in the mists of my memories. Hubby and I just watched it and we both loved it. Thank you so much for uploading this!

Watched this when I was 9 (18 now) at my 100 year old Catholic school. They had so many old movies in storage that they use to show us. For years I remembered the plot and a few scenes but didn’t think I’d ever find it. I couldn’t even remember the title but somehow found it. Watching it now with my brother who was my age when I first watched it

This is not the original version, the original never had the kids in NYC, also those kids you see in the museum aren't the kids you see in the rest of the picture you'll notice they don't show their faces.

This movie gave me my first existential crisis when I was kid. I started thinking about what happened before time begin, and what was existence and the universe. I got too scared to see the ending.

This is my first time watching the American adaptation. Back in the early 90's, I had a recording of the German dub; a straight translation of the Czech original, without the added part in the museum at the start. The kids just up and decided to go on an expedition down the stream of time to find a live trilobite. 😄

Can someone add this link to the Wikipedia entry? This is the full US version apparently and Wikipedia does not have a link (and it forbids me from linking to KZbin oh well) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Journey_to_the_Beginning_of_Time
