I just use really fine brushes, which are available from Amazon. I think they are meant for model making but they can be used for painting too!

Lovely! I can’t wait for the other videos on books by the month! This is a good way for me to think about coloring too because it is so easy to fall into the rabbit hole of buying every book I see that I like. I am afraid what I might learn if I counted all the uncolored pages and did the math to see how many years it would take to color in what I have! Maybe there is something about flower themed books. I had Eleri’s book fall apart on me too and I got so frustrated with it, I threw the book away (and I’d colored a LOT of pages). NOW Johanna Basford’s World of Flowers is doing the same thing and it just ticks me off. I keep meaning to find out if the UK version is stitch bound because I,km close to the point of chucking the whole mess. I frankly think that coloring books are a huge price bargain considering how many hours of time we spend with them and I would pay double the price of any book I have for the best paper and to have stitched bindings on them all! Btw, info about the binding is very nice to hear whenever you do a book review/flip through. Thanks for sharing more of your beautiful work K!

The UK versions of Johanna’s books are stitch-bound which is a big advantage as I hate it when books fall apart too! Have a lovely weekend and I hope you spend plenty of time colouring and relaxing!

Oh no. I am in the UK and actually bought the US version of Worlds of Wonder. I have just had a look at it - I am a buyer not a user at the moment - and it is not stitched. I am kicking myself now especially as it was much more expensive. Lesson learned. I bought the World of Flowers a few months ago. Just had a look at that too. The binding looks different but...I don't know. K could you explain in a video one day as to how to tell how a book is bound please? Thanks

The paper is so thick and wonderful, but there are many reports of it falling to pieces :-( I checked Book Depository and the UK version (for me to buy) is about twice what I paid for the US edition so I’m on the fence about whether to replace it or live with it as a loose leaf book (plus, I have 11 pages completed so…..). Double whammy for me since I have an untouched Worlds of Wonder, also US ed, and I think it is the same binding situation. :-( I may be buying a lot more UK versions in the future because it’s ridiculous to have a book fall apart like that!

Luv seeing your completed images all at once. It’s so fun to get to see them again. Good to know that the sequel to fantastic zoo is better quality paper for the Etsy version. I purchased mine via Amazon in the USA and it’s the thinnest paper ever. Printer paper basically. So it’s really a shame to get really great pictures that are the cheapest thinnest paper. It just ruins it when that happens. 😕 thx for sharing! 🙏🏻☺️

I like the Bold Springtime to Color book. Around the thin paper, could you buy another book and then you wouldn’t have to worry about the opposite side being ruined and you could prepare the paper first if you want to use other medium such as gel pens or watercolor?

Thanks so much. The book by Eleri Fowler is called Joyous blooms to colour and its gorgeous but beware, because of not being stitch-bound it may fall apart as my copy did.
