Good Morning LT. Always want to hear stories. This is what's cool about collecting currency, you can put together all kinds of sets. I just started putting a set of current FRN's 1-100 but, and you'll like this. The serial number has to contain 007 in it. At first, I didn't care were in the serial number the 007 was but I found relatively quickly a 100, 1 & 2 dollar bill with the first three digits being 007. I'm only missing the 5 & 10 as of today. Have a nice day.

A real challenge for a collector wanting a completed set would be one note for each federal reserve bank for each denomination for each series. If you wanted to break it down even further, you could collect one note per block printed for each federal reserve bank in aspecific series. Good luck on your hunts, there are going to be some that are very hard to find just by searching currency. I am subscribing to watch your channel's progress, and thank you for doing the same. Cheers.

Hey fam. What's good. Oh boy that is definitely a lofty goal/ hunt to pursue. Maaan. That'll be crazy if you could pull that one off. I am currently searching for every denomination (1-12) note from series year 1928, and looking to complete a set of National Currency in every denomination. The National Currency is getting a little pricey, but hey. It's all in good fun in the hunt. Once the set is complete I will definitely give you a shout out via the inspiration. Thanks for the sub, and looking forward to seeing your content. See you next Tuesday...

Yes, the first $10 Federal Reserve Note (FRN) issued in 1914 originally had a red treasury seal and serial numbers. However, these were later changed to blue

I would like to know the 2017 $100 bill if my serial numbers begin the same and in the same on the top numbers on the bottom numbers out of the middle number is the same is it worth something
@legaltender19805 ай бұрын
The value of your notes, ultimately come from you. If I read your message correctly. Sounds like the serial number of your note. Begins and ends with the same numbers. That would make your note a Bookend note, or possibly a Radar (if the serial number reads the same forward and backwards)...

The Eighth Edition of the Whitman United States Currency book says that plates were made for the $10 and $20 Series 1928 Legal Tender Notes, as a specimen of each note was on exhibit at the Treasury's exhibit at the 1933 - 1934 Chicago World's Fair. The book doesn't say the fate of those notes. Yes, 2026 marks the arrival of the $10 as the first of the Catalyst Series of notes with tactile features. Completed sets are all small sized, type set of Legal Tender Notes, type set of Silver Certificates minus Series 1933 $10 as budget and the rarity of the issue makes it negotiable. Of course I have the 1934 large blue numeral set of silver certificates. Have the smallhead $1 to $100. Have one of every Series of $1 from Series 1934 to 2021. Have one of every Series for $2 from 1953 to 2017A. Had the monochrome set, but spent the $50 and $100 again, as I needed to, and they were very circulated. Working on a niche set of first generation security features Notes, have all but one $5, and have all $10s.

@jaymartell2967 I do. Oh boy adding those two notes to the collection was quite a long and arduous task. A little expensive, but definitely worth the coins to have within my collection. Do you have those two $1 Federal notes (35 F and G series year note)???

Hello are you going to do a large portrait series and color notes?
@legaltender19806 ай бұрын
Hey brother. Large notes?🤔🤔🤔. Well I only have one Horseblanket note. But there are some large size notes that are all the rave. At least to the point where my interest is growing with them. More to follow regarding large size notes. And with the Colorized Notes. I have already done a completed set episode on those notes. I will send you a link to the episode upon request. I've kinda branching out into other numismatic realms. I'm doing my research and I guarantee to deliver a satisfactory product. Til next time. Keep it Legal. Keep it Tender 😊😊😊.
