As a avid collector, I have every blue seal note in the modern era (1928-1957) except the 1933 $10. In my collection I also have a $2 1899 and a $2 1918 "battleship" note. The currency from the old days were art.

@@scotttild If Two Dollar Bills WERE Stolen, then, its on a BOLO... I usually get FRESH CLEAN money from the vault, or bank teller directly. IF the money is reported stolen, Secret Service, and Law Enforcement would be using every trick to get fingerprints, and every camera angle to catch the thieves.. ANY form of currency reported stolen, WITH the proper serial numbers, tracking numbers, and detailed information on shape, condition, and amount of $2.00 bills will be reported by the victims, and if that money SPENT that IS stolen, then it will be tracked and the thieves caught! Usually... It will take REALLY dumb thieves to steal the $2.00's and spend them carelessly! LOL STOP using FEAR to force me at gun point, to STOP spending $2's?? Is there a reason why, I am targeted????

Think they missed an opportunity on not making a small sized $2 silver certificate in addition to the $2 Legal Tender, but I just kinda like the blue serial numbers as much as the red ones. With the billions of $1 silver certificates printed after 1928, they might have saved even more money by issuing at least a third of those silver certificates as $2s.

The banks should not ignore you if you request $2 bills. Next time, tell them you need them for a charity event to give to poor or sick children. See if they ignore you then. I don't know anything about the digital dollar as it relates to specific bills, nor do I know how to get a job at the Treasury except to fill out an application!

I suspect I’m the only one requesting $2.00’s and they mentioned about supply and demand.. I feel I should carry a lot of $20’s, $50’s and $100’s in case I get lucky!! Some banks are different. With Covid-19, I been asking through the drive-thru’s. It’s a hit or miss... but the banks that know me, usually come through. I love your channel for the info! The green seals are worth face value only unless you get one with a unique serial number, as we describe in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6PNinenbZqmaM0 The red seals are worth more than face value, but a lot depends on what year it is (1928, 1953 or 1963), its condition, serial number, etc. You should reach out to a local coin & currency dealer for a value. My school won’t take 2’s as payment from kids, but they’ll take every other denomination. They claim that their collector won’t accept 2 dollar bills. They also say that we would get in trouble if we tried again to turn in LEGAL US CURRENCY (2 dollar bills). I don’t understand this. Why do so many groups not take 2’s?

They just don't understand that $2s are normal currency! They are fixated on the misconceptions that have always been present, and they refuse to budge off of them. I would use them and have ready a Wikipedia print out of even videos from this channel ready to prove tht not only are they legal tender, there are almost as many $2s as $50s in circulation. No one is complaining about $50 bills, that's for sure.

I keep asking various banks for two dollar bills and the tellers are joyous to sell them to me. I got up to $40.00 worth and I keep them in alphabetical order... One guy gave me a $20.00 bill for “10” $2.00 bills. Some bank tellers are grateful that I buy them. Wish vending machines in smaller towns and work places have $2.00 vending machines. Thanks John! Would be nice to have a lottery to win nothing but $2.00 bills. I wish we were financially blessed and connected to have financial favor.. To donate or give away money, but money is tight.. I hope my overtime check would let me get $2.00’s and Spend freely.

I redid the stack of 10 and I also did a stack of 15 and 30 aswell, if you need them just reply asking about it. If you want them cropped ready, be sure that it might take some time for all images to be cropped correctly for the first user. So now I did a stack of 10, 15, 20, 30 and 40. All of which are old 1 lira coins from 1959 - 1980. I also have 2½ lira (1960 - 1980) coins aswell so if you want those coins to be used instead, be sure to wait a while.

What would a $ 2 bill be worth with 2 different serial numbers. The Left serial number reads H 454367 __ the Right upper left conner reads B 454367___ it was made at the B federal reserve. It has a Big Bold Captial B.

The mistake was in defining the "dollar." The boobs should have stuck with ounces and fractions of ounces of gold and silver and. By defining a "dollar" as 371.25 grains of pure silver, the door to debauchery was opened and the "dollar" coins or fractions were debauched. The Romans screwed themselves by debasing their coins. Each bill has a different worth. It depends a lot on its condition, and in some cases, the specific year issue and serial number. It's impossible to put a value on any one bill without more detail. Let's just say, they're all worth a lot more than $2!
