I have watched several of your videos where you make or fix small roads. They are very interesting. First of all the ground is very steep and elevation is very high. Making a road to such places seems very difficult. The other thing is the material. I mean the dirt, stones and rocks. The stones are very brittle. You can quite easily break the stones to pieces, even with your JCB backhoe. Also there is no bedrock. The hills/slopes are always a mixture of fine dirt and varying size of stones.

So much time and fuel wasted with those little 20-30 meter runs when there's room to go farther. Why waste it?
@carmineredd11982 жыл бұрын
diesel fuel is cheap, just get french fry grease and distill it, fifteen or eighteen cents per gallon to produce . maybe if they had a caterpillar D-14 they could do it faster ?

Compacting as he goes is the strategy I think

I believe they do the best with what they got available! Most of us think the work they do, with what little they have available, is quite amazing and extremely resourceful. While it may look/be wasteful or un-sensible to you, you have no idea what limitations these people have and they make the best of all of it! ❤
