We have people killed every year clearing in South Texas from bees. I wont clear brush or logs with an open cab except in fall and winter. An old timer told me to carry an old bed sheet if I did. If you hit a hive you can grab the sheet and pull it over you while you run. Mainly to keep them off your head and neck.

Those were not bees they were Hornets. We were putting a food plot at my farm and the dozer operator (full cab) hit a stump and for about 10 seconds we could hardly see the dozer for the swarm. Operator later said he had been doing woods work for 20+ years and never had a swarm anywhere near that large, said it was by far and away the largest swarm he had ever experienced during clearing. Had he not been a full cab, he without question would have died. It was so large and dense it was actually hard to believe what we were seeing but again it nearly blocked out view of the dozer for about 10 seconds. Swarm was the size of a full size pickup truck.

White and black wasp most likely bald face hornets. Usually will see them have like a basketball size nest in tree's. If you get close to nest, they will attack. There is always one outside of nest hole guarding, and they can sting more than once. Very aggressive if invade their space, I had one of the wasp sting me 7 times while running away after just walking to close by, not seeing the nest

The cheapest route for fixing your hydraulic leak on the cylinder would be take it to a hydraulic shop or reach out to the manufacture for a packing kit and do it yourself as well if you split that hydraulic motor off the brush cutter bearing box you can get a hydraulic shop to put a new lip seal in it. The hydraulic motors on our snowblower fans go all the time and we keep spare aftermarket seals for them.

The NAPA in my town had a shop. They built hoses and repaired rams. The snowcats at the mtn I worked at were older and would spring a leak every week or two, even just grooming. It was a good thing we had 2. I had to pivot turn in the parking lot and didn't know I was on a rock. Tore all 5 belts. Needed to borrow an excavator to move it and the track. Got pieces of belt from the other mtns in the area. Saved the mtn a ton of $ and labor repairing instead of replacing, since I cost them the $ in the first place
