When honeing a cylinder , move the hone in and out at a rate fast enough to prouduce a crosshatch pattern of about 60 degrees . Also put a bit kerosine on the hone stones .

It takes a long time to create that much clutter. First move the engine to someplace with enough room around it to easily get to the pieces. Let the oil soak for a day or a week. Never use a pipe wrench on a machined surface,.

PS .after honeing clean the cylinder THROUGHLY . To get all the grit from the hone out .
